Heat Exchanger and Hot Water Apparatus
A heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes extending in a first direction and aligned in a second direction intersecting with the first direction, and a plurality of fins disposed in the first direction. The fins each include a plurality of fin main bodies aligned in the second direction, and a bridging portion connecting two adjacent ones of the fin main bodies. At least one of the fin main bodies is provided with a through hole next to the bridging portion in the second direction.
HEAT EXCHANGER WITH MULTISTAGED COOLING
Embodiments described herein relate to a heat exchanger for abating compounds produced in semiconductor processes. When hot effluent flows into the heat exchanger, a coolant can be flowed to walls of a fluid heat exchanging surface within the heat exchanger. The heat exchanging surface can include a plurality of channel regions which creates a multi stage cross flow path for the hot effluent to flow down the heat exchanger. This flow path forces the hot effluent to hit the cold walls of the fluid heat exchanging surface, significantly cooling the effluent and preventing it from flowing directly into the vacuum pumps and causing heat damage. Embodiments described herein also relate to methods of forming a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger can be created by sequentially depositing layers of thermally conductive material on surfaces using 3-D printing, creating a much smaller footprint and reducing costs.
SHOWER SYSTEM
The shower system has a heat exchanger located in compartment vertically adjacent to the wall of the shower space and closed off by an openable or removable panel. The heat exchanger comprising a helically winding heat exchange conduit with successive windings around a vertical axis in said compartment above the floor of the shower space. A pump coupled to the shower drain pumps warm water to a warm water feed of the heat exchanger, from where it is sprayed on a top winding of the heat exchange conduit. Tap water is fed to the shower head successively via the heat exchange conduit and a heater and/or a mixing element for mixing water from the heat exchanger with water from a supply input for external hot water.
Exhaust gas heat exchanger having stacked flat tubes
An exhaust gas heat exchanger having stacked flat tubes includes a stacked tube body configured by stacking a plurality of flat tubes in multiple tiers with spaces therebetween and arranged inside a case; exhaust gas flows in from a first end part of the stacked tube body in a tube axis direction, circulates through each flat tube, and flows out from the a second end part; and cooling water from the case is supplied to the first end part to circulate along an exterior surface side of each flat tube. The cooling water is introduced into the tubes from two locations of the case and in mutually opposite directions which are parallel to flat surfaces of the tubes and vertical in the axis direction of the flat tubes.
Heat exchange system
A heat exchange system for a gas turbine engine includes a first heat exchanger that defines a first heat source flowpath, a second heat exchanger that defines a second heat source flowpath, and a coolant fluid circuit. The coolant fluid circuit defines a first coolant flowpath that extends through the first heat exchanger and is in thermal communication with the first heat source flowpath, and a second coolant flowpath that extends through the second heat exchanger and is in thermal communication with the second heat source flowpath. The first coolant flowpath and the second coolant flowpath are arranged in a parallel flow configuration.
Evaporator with redirected process fluid flow
An apparatus, system, and method of separating and directing process fluid flow via the use of both low pressure drop pipes and high performance tubes within a refrigerant evaporator are disclosed. The evaporator includes a shell; the shell includes a process fluid inlet and a process fluid outlet. The evaporator also includes a plurality of tubes disposed within the shell and carrying a process fluid; the plurality of tubes includes a first plurality of tubes and a second plurality of tubes. The evaporator further includes a plurality of redirect pipes disposed within the shell and carrying the process fluid; the plurality of redirect pipes includes a first redirect pipe and a second redirect pipe. The evaporator functions by separating and directing process fluid flow into two portions via the use of both tubes and redirect pipes.
Method of manufacturing actively cooled accelerator grid with full penetration weld configuration
Disclosed is an improved method of manufacturing cooled accelerator grid with full penetration weld configuration. In a preferred form, the method includes the steps of: machining a plurality of stubs, a first and a second end of a plurality of inconel pipes; welding the stubs with the first end of the inconel pipes forming a water connector assembly; machining of a base plate; welding the base plate with the water connector assembly; machining the base plate welded with the water connector assembly, wherein machining further comprises milling of plurality of cooling channels across angled plane of the base plate welded with the water connector assembly; closing of plurality of cooling channels located on the base plate welded with the water connector assembly; and welding each of plurality of external hydraulic circuits with the second end of each of the plurality of inconel pipes.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger (1) comprising a plurality of heat exchange units (10), wherein each of the plurality of heat exchange units (10) includes: an internal space (14) in which a fluid to be heated flows, a plurality of gas vents (13) penetrating the internal space (14) in a non-communicating state and through which combustion exhaust gas flows, at least one inlet port (20), and at least one outlet port (21), wherein at least the one inlet port (20) and at least the one outlet port (21) in each of the heat exchange units (10) are disposed at both ends in a longitudinal direction of the heat exchange unit (10) and are disposed to be shifted in a lateral direction of the heat exchange unit (10).
SOLID-STATE HEAT EXCHANGER MODULE
The invention relates to a novel solid heat exchanger module containing a plurality of heat exchanger tubes having a particular shape and being arranged in a special manner.
Heat exchanger and hot water apparatus
A latent heat recovery heat exchanger includes a case, a heat exchange portion, and a straightening vane. The heat exchange portion includes a plurality of heat transfer plates surrounded by a peripheral wall portion of the case and layered on one another, each of the plurality of heat transfer plates extending in a direction from an inlet toward an outlet. The straightening vane includes a top plate portion covering the plurality of heat transfer plates so as to close a space between the plurality of heat transfer plates in end portions of the plurality of heat transfer plates in a direction intersecting with a direction of layering of the plurality of heat transfer plates when the heat exchange portion is viewed from the inlet toward the outlet.
