HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger having an outer tube through which a heating or cooling medium flows, a heat source that heats or cools the outer tube at a middle position at the exterior, and a heat-exchange part which can perform a heat exchange between the heating or cooling medium flows in the outer tube and the heat source; the heat-exchange part is provided with a porous body in a cylindrical shape being in close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the outer tube, at least one inside channel that is formed inside the porous body, and at least one valve that opens and closes the inside channel; and continuous pores that communicate with both ends of the flow direction of the heating or cooling medium and through which the heating or cooling medium can flow are formed.
COAXIAL TUBE ARRANGEMENT
A coaxial tube arrangement for a heat exchanger may include a coaxial tube and a closing cover. The coaxial tube may include an inner core channel and an outer annular channel. The closing cover may close the coaxial tube at a longitudinal end side. The closing cover may have a base region and a circumferential edge. The base region may be aligned transversely to a flow direction through the coaxial tube. The circumferential edge may be aligned with the flow direction and may face the coaxial tube. The circumferential edge may have a thickness, which is defined transversely to the flow direction, that is equal to or greater than a height of the annular channel, which is defined transversely to the flow direction. The circumferential edge may cover the annular channel transversely to the flow direction and may separate the annular channel from the core channel in a fluid-tight manner.
MODULAR HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A heat exchanger for recovering heat from wastewater leaving a building and transferring the heat to freshwater for use in the building; it has an inner pipe defining an inner space for receiving wastewater that is being evacuated from the building; an outer pipe, wherein the inner pipe is placed in the outer pipe, and the outer surface of the inner pipe and the inner surface of the outer pipe define an interstitial space for receiving freshwater; a turbulator sheet located in the interstitial space that causes or increases turbulence of the freshwater for improving heat transfer between the freshwater and the wastewater; and two couplings, one on either end of the outer pipe and the inner pipe.
Condensing heat exchanger for air to liquid heat pumps
A heat exchange device may include a first pipe including a first inlet, a first outlet, and a first sidewall extending therebetween; a second pipe including a second inlet, a second outlet, and a second sidewall extending therebetween; and a plurality of dimples extending between the first sidewall and the second sidewall. The second sidewall may surround and extend about the first sidewall, the first sidewall may define a first fluid passage configured to permit flow of a first fluid, and the second sidewall and the first sidewall may define a second fluid passage configured to permit flow of a second fluid.
HEAT SHRINK ASSEMBLY HEAT EXCHANGERS
A heat exchanger assembly includes a first member defining fluid passages therein for a first heat exchanger fluid. A second member defines fluid passages therein for a second heat exchanger fluid. The second member is engaged to the second member with an interference fit. A method of assembling a heat exchanger includes thermally resizing at least one of a first heat exchanger member and a second heat exchanger member and assembling the second heat exchanger member to the first heat exchanger member. The method includes thermally equalizing the first and second heat exchanger members to engage the second heat exchanger member to the first heat exchanger member with an interference fit.
HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD FOR REFUELING A VEHICLE
A heat exchanger, including a heat exchanger tube for guiding a first medium in its interior, and also at least one connection for a second medium, wherein the region around the heat exchanger tube is provided by an open-pored, in particular solid, material, preferably a body of such a material, into which the second medium in particular can enter.
DUAL MASS COOLING PRECISION SYSTEM
Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed for cooling using both air and/or liquid cooling sub circuits. A vapor compression cooling system having both an air and liquid cooling sub circuit designed to service high sensible process heat loads that cannot be solely cooled by either liquid or air is provided.
FINLESS-TYPE DUAL-PIPE HEAT EXCHANGE APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a finless-type dual-pipe heat exchange apparatus, and to a finless-type dual-pipe heat exchange apparatus capable of dually performing heat exchange inside and outside a heat exchange pipe so as to increase a heat transfer area and heat exchange efficiency. To this end, the finless-type dual-pipe heat exchange apparatus according to the present invention has a heat exchange pipe provided as a finless-type dual pipe such that exhaust gas moves to a secondary heat exchange space, formed inside a hot water tank, along an inner pipe passage while flames generated from a burner first heats an inner pipe of the finless-type dual pipe so as to perform a primary heat exchange, and simultaneously, an exhaust gas passage is formed to pass through a chamber, first heated by the flames generated from the burner, between both the chambers to which the inner pipe and an outer pipe are connected, in order to increase the heat exchange efficiency of the present apparatus, such that the exhaust gas is sent to the secondary heat exchange space formed inside the hot water tank and meets the exhaust gas flowing in through an exhaust gas passage of the inner pipe so as to uniformly transfer heat to the secondary heat exchange space formed inside the hot water tank, thereby performing a secondary heat exchange with the outer pipe of the heat exchange apparatus.
Finned Heat Exchanger
The present invention is directed to a finned heat exchanger comprising an inner annulus, an outer annulus, a plurality of fins, and an outer chamber. The plurality of fins extends radially outward from the outer surface of the inner annulus toward the inner surface of the outer annulus. The outer chamber is located between the inner annulus and the outer annulus. The plurality of fins is located within the outer chamber. A method of heating or cooling a fluid using the finned heat exchanger and a method of forming the finned heat exchanger are also disclosed.
Systems and methods for processing geothermal liquid natural gas (LNG)
Regasification systems and processes for converting liquid natural gas (LNG) from a liquid into a gaseous state are described. The process includes a closed-loop system that uses geothermal wells as a heat source. A warming fluid circulates through the closed-loop system coupled with a geothermal well and a LNG heat exchanger. The warming fluid is heated as it passes through the geothermal well and cooled as it passes through the LNG heat exchanger, thus heating and gasifying the LNG. The cooled warming fluid then returns to the geothermal well. The closed-loop system minimizing environmental impact by eliminating the need to discharge the warming fluid.
