Heat exchanger plate and plate heat exchanger comprising such a heat exchanger plate
A heat exchanger plate has a vertical center axis dividing the plate into a left and a right half delimited by a first and second long side, respectively. A horizontal center axis divides the plate into an upper and a lower half delimited by a first and second short side, respectively. The plate includes a port hole with a reference point that coincides with a center point of a biggest imaginary circle that can be fitted into the port hole. The port hole is arranged within the left half and the upper half. The porthole has a form defined by a number of corner points of an imaginary plane geometric figure of which at least one is displaced from an arc of the circle, and the same number of thoroughly curved lines connecting the corner points. The corner points include first, second and third corner points.
HEAT TRANSFER PLATE AND PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat transfer plate comprising a first port opening and a second port opening for allowing a first fluid to flow over a top surface of the heat transfer plate, a first side opening and an opposite, second side opening for allowing a second fluid to flow over a bottom surface of the heat transfer plate, a number of rows of alternating tops and grooves that extend along the heat transfer plate, where a transition between a top and an adjacent groove is formed by an inclined portion, and plate portions that extend along the heat transfer plate, between the rows of tops and grooves, thereby forming flow channels between the rows of tops and grooves.
MULTILAYER SHEETS FOR HEAT EXCHANGERS
An air thermal conditioning system for at least one of heating air and cooling air. The air thermal conditioning system comprises one or more heat exchanger units that include at least one fluid chamber defined by first and second multilayer sheets. The first and second multilayer sheets each comprise an inner layer defining the at least one fluid chamber; a middle layer; and an outer layer that defines external opposing faces of the heat exchanger unit, the middle layer disposed between the inner layer and outer layer.
AN EVAPORATOR WITH IMPROVED DROPLET SEPARATION
An evaporator (1) for vaporizing a substance into its gaseous form, which comprises at least a plate pack (4) functioning as an evaporator and a droplet separator arranged inside the outer casing. An outlet connection (6) for leading the vaporised substance out from the outer casing is arranged to an end plate of outer casing, and said outlet connection (6) is connected to a suction duct (10) arranged inside the outer casing in a longitudinal direction of the shell, and said suction duct (10) comprises openings (12) at the upper surface of the suction duct, wherein the droplet separator is constructed at both sides of the suction duct (10).
Plate package using a heat exchanger plate with integrated draining channel and a heat exchanger including such plate package
A plate package for a heat exchanger device includes a plurality of heat exchanger plates of a first type and a plurality of heat exchanger plates of a second type. At least the heat exchanger plates of the first type include, along at least a section of the opposing side portions, a draining channel flange. The draining channel flanges are oriented in one and the same direction such that a draining channel flange of a first heat exchanger plate of the first type abuts or overlaps a draining channel flange of a subsequent heat exchanger plate. The draining channel flanges form outer walls to the outer draining portions thereby transforming the outer draining portions into draining channels. A method of using such plate package in a heat exchanger device and also a heat exchanger device as such are also disclosed.
Plate-type heat exchanger and heat source apparatus
The plate-type heat exchanger includes blocks stacked on each other, each of the blocks including a heat exchanger body configured to exchange heat between a first fluid and a second fluid. A connection passage for the first fluid is formed between blocks adjacent to each other of the plurality of blocks, the connection passage allowing the outlet of one of the blocks adjacent to each other and the inlet of the other of the blocks adjacent to each other to communicate with each other, the first fluid in the blocks adjacent to each other having different flow directions between the blocks adjacent to each other, and a second connection passage is provided between at least one pair of blocks adjacent to each other among the plurality of blocks, the second connection passage being configured to cause the first fluid to flow to a position different from the connection passage.
Ultra-compact thin foil heat-exchanger
Various embodiments include heat exchangers and methods of making heat exchangers from a series of stacked plates each made of two foil sheets bonded together in bonding locations forming fluid flow passages between the foil sheets in regions where the foil sheets are not bonded. An inlet port and an outlet port located at opposite ends of the planar extent of the two foil sheets extend through the foil sheets perpendicular to the planar extent of the foil sheets. The inlet and outlet ports provide access for a first fluid to flow into or out of the internal plate passages formed between the two foil sheets. Interstitial channels are formed between the series of plates and configured to allow the flow of a second fluid between the series of plates, allowing heat to be transferred between the two fluids while isolating the two fluids from one another.
Plate type heat exchanger
A plate type heat exchanger includes a plate package in which a plurality of heat exchange plates is stacked to form a flow path, through which fluid flows, an end plate coupled to an outside of the plate package, and a socket connected to the plate package by passing through the end plate. The end plate includes a base which is in contact with the outside of the plate package, a socket hole which is formed through the base and into which the socket is inserted, and a ridge that protrudes outward from an edge of the socket hole of the base.
Stacked plate heat exchanger
To mitigate thermal stress concentration in the vicinity of a flow-volume limiting portion in a stacked plate heat exchanger to thereby prevent fatigue breaking due to the same. The flow-volume limiting portion is also provided with opening portions that are similar to those in flow paths to reduce rigidity difference from flow path portions.
Plate and shell heat exchanging system having a divided manifold tube
A heat exchanging system includes a tank including a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, which encloses (envelopes) a heat exchanger including a manifold tube and one or more one heat exchanging plates, extending from the manifold tube. The manifold tube includes a fluid intake and the fluid outlet, as well as a manifold barrier, which divides the interior of the manifold tube (for example, which is hollow), so as to define within the manifold tube an intake region and an outlet region. The heat exchanging system also has at least one heat exchanging plate extending from the manifold tube, the at least one heat exchanging plate with at least one plate barrier, such that the heat exchanging plate is configured to define a fluid flow path within the heat exchanging plate such that fluid flows from the intake region of the manifold tube.
