SPORTS TRAINING LADDER AND HURDLE
The present invention provides for a training ladder, hurdle and methods of using the same. The ladder comprises flexible substantially parallel stiles, two spaced apart rungs between the stiles, each rung having a first and a second end for connection to the stiles; at least one rung having a clasp at each rung end to connect the rung to the stiles. Each clasp has an open and closed position. In the closed position, the rung with the clasps cannot be moved along the stiles and in the open position the rung can be repositioned or removed from the stiles. The present invention additionally comprises a hurdle. Advantageously, the legs of the hurdle are pivotally connected to a crossbar providing for adjustable height and preferred storage methods. Optionally, the crossbar of the hurdle can be configured from a rung of the ladder.
Process and system for measuring or predicting a hurdle race time
The process enables a time of an athlete in a hurdle race to be measured or predicted with a personalized transponder module positioned on the athlete and a base station. The transponder module comprises a receiver unit, a processing unit, a transmitter unit for data signals and a motion sensor to supply measurement signals to the processing unit. The module is activated by a wake-up signal and a measurement of the movement is conducted by the sensor after the start of the race on passage of each hurdle. The data signals are transmitted to the base station and determination of a passage time over each hurdle is conducted.
Sport Training Structure
A sport training structure includes a plurality of brackets and a plurality of first pivot members connected with the brackets. Each of the first pivot members has two connecting portions. Two of the first pivot members are mounted between two of the brackets to construct a polygonal frame, with each of the two connecting portions of each of the first pivot members being pivotally connected with one of the two pivot ends of each of the brackets. In such a manner, the two of the brackets are pivoted about the two of the first pivot members, so that the polygonal frame is foldable.
Pedal operated hurdle
A hurdle with a riser assembly having a gate board attached to movable gate tubes that telescope upon uprights and with a cross support between the trailing ends of the legs has a height adjustment system that includes a pedal in the cross support. Depressing the pedal retracts spring loaded posts to allow a user to hold and move the gate board up or down with the hands.
MODULAR AGILITY HURDLE
A modular agility hurdle includes a crossbar having a substantially horizontal portion having opposing ends and opposing substantially vertical risers extending from the opposing ends of the substantially horizontal portion. The modular agility hurdle also includes a pair of feet. Each of the pair of feet include a midportion having a receptacle configured to accept and retain an end portion of one of the substantially vertical risers and opposing feet portion extending from the midportion, where each of the opposing feet have upwardly arcuate shaped end portions.
Inflatable Obstacle Course Equipment
Inflatable devices that can be used as training equipment, and a method for forming an obstacle course from inflatable equipment.
HURDLE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A hurdle system and method. The hurdle system has a telescoping interior arm and a non-telescoping exterior arm. The telescoping interior arm has spaced-apart cylindrical apertures that allow the height of the telescoping interior arm to be locked. A hurdle cross bar support fixedly attaches to a distal end of the telescoping interior arm. A hurdle cross bar is supported by the hurdle cross bar support in a parallel relationship. A bottom cross bar is placeable on the ground as support base for the hurdle. A proximal end of the non-telescoping exterior arm and the bottom cross bar are fixedly attached. A pair of bottom cross bar extensions extend from opposite ends of the bottom cross bar to provide additional stability. A position adjustable counterweight at the bottom cross bar maintains the hurdle in an upright position.
Marker cone system
A marker cone system which provides users with greater spatial awareness and guidance when using marker cones for sports training or other sports and/or non-sports related activities. The marker cone system generally includes a weight which may be installed underneath the marker cone and a post receiver which may be installed within the channel of a marker cone. The post receiver and weight will generally be connected together, such as by threaded engagement, with the marker cone being secured therebetween. A marker post may be removably inserted within the post receiver to improve visibility or provide additional functionality. The marker post may include a slot to reduce wind resistance and one or more receiver openings adapted to removably receive cross members. By utilizing multiple marker posts with post receivers, one may construct a hurdle, fence, goal, or any number of structures for sports or non-sports applications.
Hurdle
A hurdle has a supporting frame and two crossing rods. The two crossing rod each respectively employing a connecting joint, a spring, an engaging member, and a locking screw engageable with two opposing standing bars. The supporting frame includes the two standing bars and a horizontal aperture. The crossing rod has a hollow rod body, a soft protector jacketed onto the rod body, and a secure aperture disposed through an end of crossing rod. The connecting joint includes a hollow tubal structure with an axial hole, a connecting section with a smaller diameter is disposed at an end, a combining aperture disposed on the connecting section. An end of the spring is a hook end and another end is a screw stem having a threaded section and an inner threaded aperture, and the hook end of the spring is placed into the connecting joint through the axial hole.
