Method for removing a contamination layer by an atomic layer etching process

A method for at least partially removing a contamination layer (24) from an optical surface (14a) of an optical element (14) that reflects EUV radiation includes: performing an atomic layer etching process for at least partially removing the contamination layer (24) from the optical surface (14a), which, in turn, includes: exposing the contamination layer (24) to a surface-modifying reactant (44) in a surface modification step, and exposing the contamination layer (24) to a material-detaching reactant (45) in a material detachment step. The optical element (14) is typically taken, before the atomic layer etching process is performed, from an optical arrangement, in particular from an EUV lithography system, in which the optical surface (14a) of the optical element (14) is exposed to EUV radiation (6), during which the contamination layer (24) is formed.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TUBE ARRANGEMENT FOR THE TRANSPORT OF TEMPERING MEDIUM

A method for producing a tube arrangement (1) for the transport of tempering medium, in which base body sections (6, 7) are provided, which have congruently configured separating surfaces (8), wherein at least one functional element (3) on at least one base body section (6, 7) is arranged in such a way that it can be in contact with the tempering medium, whereafter the base body sections (6, 7) are joined along the separating surface (8) and bonded to one another to form the tube arrangement (1).

Counter-flow heat exchanger for battery thermal management applications

A heat exchanger for thermal management of battery units made-up of plurality of battery cells or battery cell containers housing one or more battery cells is disclosed. The heat exchanger has a main body portion defining at least one primary heat transfer surface for surface-to-surface contact with a corresponding surface of at least one of the battery cells or containers. A plurality of alternating first and second fluid flow passages are formed within the main body portion each defining a flow direction, the flow direction through the first fluid flow passages being generally opposite to the flow direction through the second fluid flow passages providing a counter-flow heat exchanger.

THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A thermal management system and a method of operating thereof includes a housing body having a first broad surface and an opposing second broad surface and may extend between a first end and a second end. The housing body defines plural passages disposed between the first and second broad surfaces. The plural passages extend in one or more orthogonal directions between the first and second ends of the body. An inlet conduit is fluidly coupled with a first passage of the plural passages via an inlet structure that defines an inlet of the housing body, and directs a fluid into the first passage of the plural passages. An outlet conduit is fluidly coupled with a second passage of the plural passages via an outlet structure that defines an outlet of the housing body, and directs the fluid out of the second passage of the plural passages.

HEAT EXCHANGER

A heat exchanger includes an outer packaging member. The outer packaging member is configured to allow a heat transfer medium flowed to an inside of the outer packaging member from a heat transfer medium inlet to pass through the inside and flow out from a heat transfer medium outlet. The outer packaging member is made of outer packaging laminate materials each including a metal heat transfer layer and a resin thermal fusion layer provided on one surface of the heat transfer layer. The outer packaging laminate materials are superimposed one on the other. The thermal fusion layers are integrally bonded along peripheral edge portions of the outer packaging laminate materials. The heat transfer layer and the thermal fusion layer of the outer packaging laminate material are laminated via an inner adhesive agent layer made of an acid-modified polyolefin-based adhesive agent containing an acid-modified polyolefin-based resin.

UNIVERSAL HEAT EXCHANGER

A heat exchanger (100) having a plurality of plates (101) manufactured preferably but not limiting to the stamping process, the plates has been configured to accommodate the internal fins (106). The plates (101) also define plurality of the passages (102) for flowing at least two fluids. A plurality of conduits (103) fluidly coupled to a first end and second of the end of the plates (101) which allows the flow of the fluids. At least one inlet (104) coupled to a first end, and at least one outlet (105) coupled to the second end of the plurality of plates (101) configured to allow the flow of the fluids wherein each fluid flow in a different direction from the other, a plurality of inner fins (106) disposed on a surface of each of the plurality of plates (101) for increasing the surface to volume ratio of the first and second fluid to achieve pre-defined thermal performance.
