EQUESTRIAN WATER BOTTLE HOLDER
A water bottle holder for equestrian environments includes a cup configured to hold a water bottle, a pair of arms configured to be positioned in proximity to opposing sides of a jump post of an equestrian jumping standard, and a removable pin configured to be inserted through apertures in the pair of arms and a hole of the jump post that is at the desired height. The cup can include a drainage hole. The cup can be configured to hold other items. The water bottle holder can include a tether that connects the removable pin to the rest of the water bottle holder. The water bottle holder can include hooks in the pair of arms and a standoff to secure the water bottle holder to a horizontal structure. The water bottle holder can include knobs for attachment to a keyhole track that can be associated with the jumping standard.
Sliding jump cup system, method and apparatus
A sliding jump cup system allows for the efficient modification of jump heights comprises a sliding jump cup and a shaft that serves as a sliding support for the cup and that can be mounted onto an existing jump standard or which itself serves the purpose of a standard.
Equine Barrier Training and Desensitizing Device
An automatically resetting rodeo barrier training and desensitizing device. This device is constructed to train horses to properly act with respect to rodeo barriers in performance of certain rodeo contests, such as, by way of example, steer roping and calf roping. The device further trains horses to be accustomed to stimulation to their legs and bodies so that the horse will not succumb to panic or a flight reaction. A barrier arm makes a makeshift rodeo barrier, which rotates about the support member allowing the animal to pass through. After the animal has moved through, the barrier arm is returned automatically to resting position.
Electronic/mechanical dog agility jump
An adjustable vault apparatus for use on a ground surface includes a base and a pair of linear actuators mounted vertically at opposing sides thereof. Each linear actuator is adapted to move a bar support thereof vertically between a lowered position and a raised position. The bar supports are mutually opposing and adapted to support one end of an elongated jump bar at a bar trough thereof, by gravity. Each linear actuator moves the bar support in accordance to a control circuit electrically connected with each linear actuator and a power source. A control signal received by the control circuit, either wirelessly or by wired connection, causes the control circuit to actuate each linear actuator to either raise or lower each bar support in unison, and the jump bar.
Variable length oxer and method of using same
The system and method of training an animal to jump using a variable length oxer. The oxer having one or more jump cups located on an adjustable length arm to provide for a jump of varying depth and/or height. The oxer mounts to a standard using a variety of mechanisms. The mount may comprise a jump cup. The oxer may comprise a counterweight and/or a support leg.
