A tubing element for a heat exchanger is at least partially a rigid elongated tubing having a first end, a second end, a first side wall and a second side wall. First and second side walls are substantially parallel to each other. The distance between first side wall and second side wall is considerably smaller than the width of first side wall and second side wall, resulting in a substantially overall flat tubing structure with connection walls on both sides. The tubing element has a plurality of fins on at least one of the outer surfaces of the first side wall and/or of the second side wall. Fins define an angle enclosed by the fins and a connection wall. A heat exchanger, use of a tubing element, use of a heat exchanger and method of manufacturing of a tubing element to manufacture at least partially a heat exchanger are included.

COOLER AND FLOW PATH UNIT

A cooler includes: a narrow flow path that has a narrow cross-sectional area; a wide flow path that is connected to a downstream side of the narrow flow path, is in thermal contact with a heating body, and has a wide cross-sectional area; and at least one rectifying piece that is provided in an upstream portion of the wide flow path that is an upstream side from a position being in thermal contact with the heating body. A fluid refrigerant flows through the narrow flow path and the wide flow path, and heat generated by the heating body is radiated. The rectifying piece includes: a single first angle portion that protrudes toward the upstream side; and a first surface and a second surface that join at an acute angle to form the first angle portion.

FLAT TUBE FOR HEADER-PLATELESS HEAT EXCHANGER

A flat tube for a header-plateless heat exchanger has an inner plate and an outer plate that are each press-molded from a metal plate and are curved/folded into a groove shape comprising a groove bottom section and two side wall sections. Both plates are such that the outer plate is fitted to the outside of the inner plate in a manner such that the groove bottom sections oppose each other, and an expanded opening in the thickness direction is formed at both ends of the plates.

Tube Stay Installation Assembly

A tube stay mounting assembly includes a press assembly having a housing and a top block configured to flatten fins on a first surface of a finned tube. A press arm is operable to move the top block vertically with respect to the housing. A bottom block is configured to flatten fins on a second surface of the finned tube when the press arm is rotated and moves the top block downwardly. A tube stay clamping assembly includes a clamping housing configured to receive a tube stay having a top, bottom, rear, and front walls, the tube stay being configured to receive a flattened portion of the finned tube. A clamping arm is connected by linking arms to a clamping block, the clamping block configured to engage and force the front wall into snap-fit engagement with the top wall of the tube stay.

High pressure capable liquid to refrigerant heat exchanger

A liquid to refrigerant heat exchanger includes a coolant volume that is at least partially defined by a plastic housing and by a metal closure plate. The plastic housing is sealingly joined to the closure plate along an outer periphery of the closure plate. The metal closure plate can be part of a brazed assembly that defines a continuous refrigerant flow path through the heat exchanger between a refrigerant inlet port and a refrigerant outlet port.

Provided is a heat exchanger in which first flow paths for flowing a first fluid and second flow paths for flowing a second fluid are arranged adjacent via a partition wall through which heat exchange is performed. The partition wall includes parallel tubular partition walls inside of which is the first flow paths. At least a part of the tubular partition walls in a flow path direction are integrally coupled to form a partition wall coupling portion having a geometric pattern in transverse cross section. An element figure of the geometric pattern corresponding to a transverse cross-sectional shape of the tubular partition wall is connected to each other at a vertex, and the number of sides of the element figure gathering at the vertex is an even number. In the partition wall coupling portion, the second flow paths are defined between outer peripheral surfaces of the surrounding tubular partition walls.

HEAT EXCHANGER CHANNELS

A heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger body having a first end and a second end opposed to the first end along a flow axis. A plurality of flow channels is defined in the heat exchanger body extending axially with respect to the flow axis.
