The heat exchanger includes a frame, a plurality of heat exchanger cores, a first flowpath and a second flowpath. The frame extends circumferentially about an axis. The frame includes a plurality of receptacles within an interior of the frame. Each of the heat exchanger cores is housed within a respective one of the receptacles. The first flowpath extends in a first direction across the heat exchanger and through the plurality of heat exchanger cores. The second flowpath extends in a second direction across the heat exchanger and through the plurality of heat exchanger cores.

MODULARIZED THERMAL MANAGEMENT

A thermal management system for an exothermic process includes cooling units, each including a hot coolant port through which coolant heated by the exothermic process flows and a cold coolant port through which the coolant that has been heat reduced by the cooling units flows. A pair of mounting rails have respective interior chambers that are in fluid communication with corresponding coolant ports formed on the respective mounting rails. Conduits interconnect the coolant port of one of the mounting rails to the hot coolant port of each of the cooling units and the coolant port of the other one of the mounting rails to the cold coolant port of each of the cooling units.

COMPARTMENTALIZED HEAT EXCHANGER IN INDUSTRIAL COMPONENT SYSTEM

In a cooled component system, a heat exchanger mounted on a surface of the industrial component is housed in an isolated access compartment adjacent to but separated from the primary compartment containing the industrial component. Housing the heat exchanger in a separately accessible compartment permits access to the heat exchanger for cleaning or other purposes without having to shut down the industrial component being cooled. A means for moving a cooling media over the surface a the heat exchanger might also be included to maximize heat exchange.

GAS COOLER

A gas cooler includes a pair of seal plates and a pair of first support ribs. The individual seal plate has a stepped surface which extends in a direction that a cooling portion is inserted into a casing. The individual first support rib supports the stepped surface. With the configuration where the stepped surface is supported by the first support rib, the inside of the casing is partitioned into an upstream-side space communicated with an introducing port and a downstream-side space communicated with a discharging port.
