Method for producing a heat exchanger for a motor vehicle and a heat exchanger for a motor vehicle
A method for producing a heat exchanger for a motor vehicle, wherein the heat exchanger has reservoirs and a bundle of flow-through fluid conduits for guiding the flow between the reservoirs. The conduits are produced together as a bundle. A heat exchanger for a motor vehicle, especially a micro-channel cooler, can be produced by this method.
HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The heat exchanger includes at least one tube array in which refrigerant flows, the tube array includes a plurality of tubes each having a channel formed therein, and connection members coupled to opposite ends of the tubes so as to interconnect the tubes, and the tubes are injection molded integrally with the connection members.
SWIRL-ENHANCED MICROCHANNEL COLD PLATE
A cold plate assembly includes a cold plate manufactured from a thermally conductive material and having a first surface attachable to a heat generating electronic component and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the second surface having an array of extended fins. A swirl enhancement plate of the cold plate assembly is positioned proximate and parallel to the second surface, having at least one nozzle opening to channel one or more corresponding impingement jets of cooling liquid toward the second surface, and having a plurality of swirl enhancement protrusions each extending toward the second surface in a corresponding microchannel between two adjacent extended fins to induce swirl/turbulence that disrupts a thermal boundary layer of the cooling liquid flow. An encapsulating lid attachable to the second surface forms a liquid cooling cavity encompassing the array of extended fins and swirl enhancement plate and includes intake and exhaust ports.
Injectable heat sink
A heat sink arrangement includes a housing associated with an electronic heat source. The housing has a cavity adjacent to the heat source. A thermally conductive, electrically insulating foam heat sink is disposed in the cavity and draws heat out of the heat source. The foam heat sink may be formed of a two-part epoxy.
HEAT SINK ASSEMBLY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A heat sink assembly and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The heat sink assembly includes a heat dissipating base and a sealing member. The heat dissipating base includes a main body and a dissipating seat. The main body is mounted to a connector assembly, and an inner surface of the main body defines a passageway space. The heat dissipating seat is placed in the passageway space. The sealing member is provided in the passageway space. The sealing member has a fixing portion which is connected to the inner surface of the main body, and a floating portion which is connected to the fixing portion and the heat dissipating seat and is separated from the inner surface of the main body. Therefore, it can allow the heat dissipating seat to cooperate with contacting and abutting of a pluggable assembly to move relative to the main body, avoid the heat dissipating seat generating interference with the pluggable assembly, in turn attain an effect of promoting mounting firmness.
Device for controlling the temperature of a component and method for manufacturing the device
The present invention relates to a device for controlling the temperature of a component and a method of production thereof. The device includes an elongate basic profile that defines a plurality of fluid flow channels in its interior. The fluid flow channels are arranged in series and separated by webs. The elongate basic profile extrudes from a plastic material. The device includes a connection unit connected to the basic profile and designed to direct fluid into the basic profile or out of the basic profile. The connection unit is formed partially or completely from a transparent plastic material.
