The first header may include a plurality of slots each having a recessed groove. The ATAAC may further comprise a plurality of core tubes each including a first end inserted in a respective one of the slots of the first header. The ATAAC may further comprise a plurality of mechanical joints each connecting the first end of one of the core tubes to the first header. Each of the mechanical joints may include a C-ring inserted in the recessed groove of one of the slots, and a clamp clamping the core tube to the first header. The C-ring and the clamp may both be formed from a metallic material.
Concentric helical coil key separator device and attachment therefor
A separator device for separating coils of a heat exchanger assembly has a top surface opposite a bottom surface, and an inner portion opposite an outer portion. The inner portion and the outer portion extend between the top surface and the bottom surface. The separator device further includes a pair of sides extending between the inner portion and the outer portion, each of the sides defining a concave curve having an apex. A lug is provided to connect the apex of each concave curve. At least one ramp is defined on the top surface and/or the bottom surface, extending from the inner portion toward the lug. The lug is arcuately shaped to project away from the top surface and the bottom surface and is shaped to correspond to a gap between adjacent coils of the heat exchanger assembly.
HEAT EXCHANGER COMPRISING A PROTECTIVE DEVICE
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger (20) comprising a protective device (1), mutually parallel tubes (22) through which a first fluid circulates, and perpendicular fins (26) connecting two successive flat tubes (22), a second fluid circulating between said flat tubes (22) by passing through said fins (26), said protective device (1) being apertured so as to allow the circulation of the second fluid through the fins (26), said protective device (1) comprising fixing spikes (7) which are inserted forcibly between the fins (26).
Superposed heat exchanger
Disclosed is a superposed heat exchanger, including a plurality of fins superposed up. Two opposite side edges of each fin are bent upwards to form a ventilating air path in coordination with an upper fin, and adjacent fins are arranged in a mode of vertical-horizontal alternating so as to form horizontal air paths and vertical air paths independent from each other with up-down intervals.
HEATING ELEMENT COVER COMPONENT, HEATING ELEMENT COVER, RADIANT COOLING AND HEATING APPARATUS, AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
A heating element cover component includes a hollow outer shell portion of a required length, having required rigidity and thermal conductivity, a substantially half-pipe shaped abutting portion formed with a required thickness on the outside of the outer shell portion in a longitudinal direction of the outer shell portion, having flexibility and thermal conductivity, and with a slit penetrating in a thickness direction formed over the entire length in the longitudinal direction, a connecting portion having flexibility and thermal conductivity, connecting opposed edges of the abutting portion in the longitudinal direction with the outer shell portion, and an engaging portion constituted with a projecting piece and a projecting piece inserting portion being engaging elements disposed at line-symmetrical positions using a longitudinal straight line located at a widthwise middle of the abutting portion as an axis of symmetry to form a pair structured to be engageable with each other.
Header for a Heat Exchanger, and Method of Making the Same
A header for a heat exchanger includes a first and a second cylindrical portion. The first cylindrical portion has a first diameter, and extends over a first length portion of the header. The second cylindrical portion has a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter, and extends over a second length portion of the header. Tube receiving slots are arranged along the first length portion. An end cap is received into an open end of the first cylindrical portion, and is joined thereto to seal a first end of the header. An open end of the second cylindrical portion is arranged at a second end of the header opposite the first end to allow for fluid flow into or out of the header. A circumferential bead is located between the first and second cylindrical portions, and extends radially outward of the first cylindrical portion.
Heat exchanger, especially for a motor vehicle, and corresponding air intake device
A heat exchanger for heat exchange between at least two fluids, especially for a motor vehicle, comprises a bundle (7) for heat exchange between said fluids, and a housing (9) for receiving said bundle (7), said housing (9) having at least one raised edge (11). The heat exchanger also has a seal (15) of a rigid plastic material, said seal enveloping said at least one raised edge (11) and being designed to ensure the tightness between the exchanger and a container of said exchanger. The heat exchanger can also be included in an air intake device including such a heat exchanger and an air intake collector.
HEAT EXCHANGER ELEMENT WITH THERMAL EXPANSION FEATURE
A combination heat exchanger comprises a first heat exchanger assembly and a second heat exchanger assembly. The first heat exchanger assembly includes a first end tank, a second end tank, and a first heat exchanger core including a plurality of first heat exchanger tubes extending longitudinally in a first direction.
