RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY AND THERMAL-TRANSFER ASSEMBLY
Receptacle assembly includes a receptacle cage and a thermal-transfer module that is coupled to a thermal side of the receptacle cage. The thermal-transfer module has a base portion and a plurality of heat-transfer fins coupled to the base portion. The thermal-transfer module is configured to absorb thermal energy from a pluggable transceiver in the receptacle cage and transfer the thermal energy through the base portion and to the heat-transfer fins. The receptacle assembly also includes a retention clip configured to hold the thermal-transfer module to the receptacle cage. The retention clip includes a resilient beam that extends across the thermal-transfer module. The resilient beam directly engages at least some of the heat-transfer fins and applies a resilient force against the heat-transfer fins.
Three-Dimensional Electronic Structure with Integrated Phase-Change Cooling
This document describes techniques for implementing phase-change cooling in a three-dimensional structure. A three-dimensional structure having three-dimensional curvatures is fabricated to include a phase-change chamber with a fluid in a saturated thermodynamic state. As part of fabrication, specific mechanisms may be included that create a thermo-mechanical network that improves thermal performance of the phase-change chamber and also provides structural integrity to the three-dimensional structure.
PROTECTION STRUCTURE FOR VAPOR CHAMBER
A protection element for vapor chamber includes a main body and a protection element. The main body is divided into a working zone and a sealing zone. The sealing zone is located around an outer periphery of the working zone and is provided with a notch area, to which a fluid-adding and air-evacuating pipe is connected. The protection element is correspondingly mounted to the notch area to contact with the sealing zone of the main body. With the arrangement of the protection element, the fluid-adding and air-evacuating pipe is protected against collision and impact and accordingly, the main body of the vapor chamber is protected against vacuum and working fluid leakage.
THERMAL ASSEMBLY FOR A PROPULSION SYSTEM OF AN AIRCRAFT
A thermal assembly including a heat exchanger including a central matrix including a first assembly, an inlet module configured to cause a first fluid to enter the central matrix, and an outlet module configured to evacuate the first fluid from the central matrix, and a support including a base to be fixed to the propulsion system and rails rigidly fastened to the base including a second assembly cooperating with the first assembly to form a sliding connection. Also an aircraft with such a heat exchanger.
Cooling device for cooling a separate object to be cooled
Cooling device for cooling a separate object to be cooled, in particular a technical component, wherein the cooling device comprises at least one cooling-rib body comprising a plurality of cooling ribs, and at least one main body that is open on at least one side, in particular when viewed in cross section, and defines a receiving space configured to receive at least one cooling-rib body, wherein the at least one cooling-rib body comprises at least one fastening element, which is configured to interact with the at least one main-body-side fastening element to form a fastening between the at least one cooling-rib body received in the receiving space and the main body, and the main body comprises at least one fastening element, which is configured to interact with at least one cooling-rib-body-side fastening element to form a fastening between the at least one cooling-rib body received in the receiving space and the main body.
HEAT EXCHANGE MODULE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A heat exchange module alone or part of a system including a control console. The HEM can include a channel enclosure assembly, a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) assembly and a heat transfer (cover) assembly. The enclosure assembly includes a channel for a heat-transfer liquid. The module can be constructed to provide for flexibility to better conform and fit on rounded and/or angular body parts and to efficiently transfer heat between the adjacent body part and the heat-transfer liquid via the TECs of the TEC assembly.
Mounting clip
A mounting clip that can be used to mount a heat exchanger to a housing, for example, in a HVAC system is disclosed. The mounting clip may include a receiver portion configured to receive, for example, an end portion of the heat exchanger. The mounting clip may also include a clip portion configured to secure the mounting clip to the housing. The mounting clip can be used to mount the heat exchanger to the housing relatively easily, reducing the manufacturing cost and time of the HVAC system.
METHOD OF CLEANING AN ICE MACHINE
A method of cleaning an evaporator of an ice maker can include a first manual intervention comprising activating a switch of an ice maker, activating the switch of the ice maker comprising initiating an overall cleaning procedure; a first automatic step comprising signaling to a user that a second manual intervention comprising pouring one of a cleaning fluid and a sanitizing fluid into a tank of an evaporator case of the ice maker is required; the second manual intervention comprising pouring the one of the cleaning fluid and the sanitizing fluid into the tank; and a second automatic step comprising automatically initiating and completing at least one of a cleaning stage and a sanitizing stage upon completion of the second manual intervention, automatically initiating the at least one of the cleaning stage and the sanitizing stage comprising operating a cleaning valve of a water circuit of the ice maker by a main controller of the ice maker.
PROCESS TO MANUFACTURE AN INTERCONNECTED STACK OF THERMOPLASTIC FRAMES
The invention is directed to a process to manufacture an interconnected stack of thermoplastic frames having two sides by stacking the thermoplastic frames to obtain a stack of frames such that the facing sides of two neighbouring frames are in contact with each other at a contact area. When stacking a longitudinal conduit is formed which runs along the length of the stack and a branched conduit is formed at the contact area. The interconnected stack of thermoplastic frames are obtained by supplying a pressurised melt of a plastic material to the elongated conduit and branched conduits.
HEAT EXCHANGE SYSTEM
The present invention concerns a heat exchange system including at least one support, a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger, each of the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger being fixed to the support via a fixing element including at least one tongue. The first heat exchanger includes a first tongue and the second heat exchanger includes a second tongue, the first tongue and the second tongue extending facing one another, each of the first tongue and the second tongue engaging with a common fixing tab of the support.
