Modular heatsink and methods of use thereof
Heatsinks and methods are provided for dissipating thermal energy from a substrate in thermal contact therewith. The heatsinks include a plurality of sequentially coupled links. Each of the links includes a hub portion elongated along a central longitudinal axis thereof, a male connector on a first side of the hub portion and elongated along the central longitudinal axis, a female connector on a second side of the hub portion and elongated along the central longitudinal axis, wherein the female connector of each of the links is configured to couple with the male connector of an adjacent one of the links, a planar contact portion on a third side of the hub portion configured to receive thermal energy via conduction from the substrate, and a fin extending from a fourth side of the hub portion configured to dissipate the thermal energy to a surrounding environment via convection.
THERMAL MODULE
A thermal module includes a heat-absorbing component, a heat-dissipating component, a heat pipe, and a movable handle. The heat pipe connects the heat-absorbing component and the heat-dissipating component. The movable handle connects the heat-absorbing component and the heat-dissipating component and is located on the heat pipe. The movable handle includes two fixed seats and a handle body. The fixed seats are respectively fixed on the heat-absorbing component and the heat-dissipating component. Two ends of the handle body are respectively pivoted to the fixed seats to rotate between a flat position and an upright position. The handle body is parallel to the heat pipe when in the flat position. The handle body is perpendicular to the heat pipe when in the upright position. The movable handle prevents the heat pipe from bending excessively and deforming due to direct force through connecting to the heat-absorbing component and the heat-dissipating component.
HINGED COOLERS
A hinged cooler includes an enclosure in which a cooling fluid flows, a first heat exchanger disposed inside the enclosure for cooling a first fluid by the cooling fluid, a second heat exchanger disposed inside the enclosure for cooling a second fluid by the cooling fluid, and a hinge located between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger rotates 2024/085909 around the hinge, in a first direction, from a first closed position that covers the enclosure to a first open position in which the first heat exchanger moves to an outside of the enclosure. The second heat exchanger rotates around the hinge, in a second direction opposite to the first direction, from a second closed position that covers the enclosure to a second open position in which the second heat exchanger moves to the outside of the enclosure.
