Semi-automated heat exchanger tube cleaning assembly and method
A heat exchanger tube cleaning assembly and method is provided. The assembly can allow for semi-automated tube cleaning of a heat exchanger or other piping or equipment used in an industrial facility such as, for example, a petrochemical plant or oil refinery.
Cleaning apparatus for cooling tube array
A cleaning apparatus for cleaning a cooling tube array of a heat exchanger, including a triangular truss beam supported to be movable in a first direction, which direction is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the truss beam, a nozzle carriage movably held on the truss beam, the nozzle carriage being movable along the longitudinal direction of the truss beam, and a plurality of cleaning nozzles mounted to the nozzle carriage, the truss beam having two tubular top chords and one tubular bottom chord that is arranged centrally below the top chords, and bracings that connect the chords, and the nozzle carriage having at least one bottom chord roller that is arranged for traveling on the bottom side of the bottom chord; and a cleaning apparatus having a square truss beam.
TUBE BUNDLE CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A tube cleaning system and method including a nozzle holder operable to secure nozzles in a nozzle arrangement, the nozzle arrangement corresponding to an arrangement of tubes of a tube bundle, and a nozzle positioning system operable to move the nozzle holder and nozzles secured therein, to cause the nozzles to engage a set of tubes of the tubes of the tube bundle, the nozzles configured to direct cleaning fluid into the set of tubes.
CLOTHES CARE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A clothes care apparatus may include a tub; an upper detergent supply device disposed above the tub; a lower detergent supply device disposed below the tub; a heat exchanger disposed above the tub; a nozzle device configured to spray water to the heat exchanger; a first pipe configured to supply water to the upper detergent supply device; a second pipe configured to supply water to the nozzle device; a third pipe configured to supply water to the tub; a water supply device configured to be connected to the first pipe, the second pipe, and the third pipe; and a controller configured to control the water supply device to supply water to at least one of the upper detergent supply device, the nozzle device or the tub, so as to perform at least one of a washing process, a rinsing process, a spin-drying process or a drying process.
Heat exchanger washing device and air conditioner having the same
A heat exchanger washing device includes a wash water storage chamber to store wash water in a case, a wash water injection chamber to jet the wash water stored in the wash water storage chamber to a heat exchanger, and a bypass path unit to guide the wash water jetted from the wash water injection chamber to a side surface of the heat exchanger after bypassing an upper surface of the heat exchanger.
Heat exchanger blower method
A cleaning system for use with a heat exchanger and a fluid pressurizing assembly includes a wand assembly, a pivot assembly, and a movement mechanism having a body and a piston rod moveable relative the body in response to fluid pressurization. The wand assembly includes a wand in fluid communication with the fluid pressurizing assembly, and having a first orifice configured to eject fluid toward the heat exchanger. The wand is supported by the pivot assembly such that the wand is selectively pivotable about a first pivot axis. The movement mechanism connects to the pivot assembly at a second pivot axis offset from the first pivot axis such that selective movement of the piston rod produces pivotal movement of the wand about the pivot axis.
ON LINE CHEMICAL CLEANING OF AIR COOLERS
This invention relates to cleaning of deposits or scale or fouling from external surface of air coolers tubes bundle.
Air coolers in different configurations are used in oil refineries, chemical plants, and power plants to cool process liquids or to condensate gas into liquid. High thermal efficiency of air coolers is critical to maximize production and minimize waste of energy.
Current cleaning methods consist on high pressure water blast, soap (detergents), dry ice blast or using weak acids. Those methods have significant disadvantages: damage to fins, confined space entry, scaffolding, shut-down of the process unit, and more. The invention is based on On-Line pneumatic spraying of dry thin powder, combining chemical and mechanical cleaning simultaneously. Performing bottom-to-top cleaning obviates the need for water, confined space entry, scaffolding, removal of safety nets. Cleaning is performed On-Line during normal operating conditions; there is no need to shut down the process unit and no damage to fins or tubes.
Chemistry is based on a blend of compounds in different ratios to achieve desired cleaning results and to maximize the cleaning effectiveness.
Radiator cleaning assembly
A radiator cleaning assembly includes a blowing tube having a tubular portion and a flattened fin portion facilitating the fin portion to be positioned adjacent to a radiator without damaging the radiator. The fin portion has an air hole extending into an interior of the blowing tube. A valve is integrated into the blowing tube and the valve is positioned on the tubular portion. The valve is positionable in an open condition to pass air into the blowing tube and the valve is positionable in a closed condition to inhibit air from passing into the blowing tube. An air hose is fluidly coupled to the valve and the air hose is fluidly coupled to a source of compressed air to deliver compressed air to the valve. The valve delivers the compressed air to the air hole in the blowing tube to dislodge dirt and debris from the radiator.
Hand-held solid chemical applicator
Hand-held solid chemical applicator assemblies for various cleaning applications such as coil cleaning utilizing specially-configured chemical tablet chamber and assembly hydraulics. In some cases, the hand-held solid chemical applicator assemblies are configured to include a cylindrical flow diverter to facilitate proper chemical tablet dissolution.
HVAC exterior cleaning pipework
The HVAC exterior cleaning pipework is a system attachable to a HVAC unit, such that the PVC pipework can clean the exterior of the unit by means of strategically placed sprayer valves. The pipework is extendable, such that it can expand or retract to meet the exact dimensions of the specific HVAC unit whereon it should be attached. The pipework may be connected directly to a hose with sufficiently pressurized water, or the integrated pump may assist in the flow of water. The spray heads and the pump have removable components whereby they can be cleaned separately when needed.
