Firearm conversion device
11566858 · 2023-01-31 ·

A device for converting a semiautomatic firearm to a non-semiautomatic firearm. The device includes a bolt stop lever pivotally attachable to a receiver of a firearm, a spring configured to be installed in contact with the bolt stop lever and a firearm receiver such that the spring exerts a force on the bolt stop lever to retain the bolt stop lever in a first position, and, a bolt release mechanism operatively coupleable to the bolt stop lever and configured to pivot the bolt stop lever against the force of the spring into a second position. The bolt release mechanism is operatively decoupled from the bolt stop lever when the bolt stop lever reaches the second position. When in the first position the bolt stop lever restricts motion of a bolt of the firearm, and when in the second position, the bolt stop lever permits motion of the firearm bolt.

A reciprocating bolt assembly has delayed blowback and a firing pin block. Features prevent out-of-battery firing, when the bolt assembly is not fully engaged to the firing chamber or barrel face, a movable member within a bolt body functions as a blocking member that blocks the firing pin and prevents the firing pin from striking a cartridge. In embodiments, the firing pin has two stop portions that the movable member can engage depending on the cycle status of the firearm. A reverse cam mechanism associated with the firing pin blocking provides a resistance to and delays blowback.

Breech Guide Device of a Semiautomatic or Automatic Firearm

In a guide device (100) for guiding a slide (300) of a semiautomatic or automatic firearm along an upper part of a frame (200) during a sliding movement in connection with the firing of a cartridge (400), a narrow design of a slide (300) is made possible when a double-stack magazine (210) is used, in that a slideway which allows sliding between the frame (200) and slide (300) is divided into two segments (220, 240), a first segment (220) being arranged remote from barrel (230) of the firearm behind a magazine chamber (211) designed to receive a magazine (210) containing cartridges (400), and a second segment (240) being arranged close to the barrel (230) in front of the magazine chamber (211).

Firearm having reciprocable breech cover
11703292 · 2023-07-18 · ·

A bullpup shotgun which ejects shells from the bottom of its action has a reciprocable cover which, when in a closed position, overlies the breech end of the shotgun's barrel. When in an open position, the cover is in spaced relation to the barrel breech end, allowing access to the shotgun's action to clear an ammunition feed malfunction. The cover is mounted on a butt stock, and is slidable or rotatable relatively to the shotgun's butt stock to effect motion of the cover between the open and closed positions.
