Free-floating dead mass blowback bolt carrier

A bolt carrier may be provided. The bolt carrier may comprise a counter-bore, a housing, a cap, and a free-floating mass. The counter-bore may be disposed in the bolt carrier. The housing may be disposed in the counter-bore. The housing may have an interior, a first end, and a second end. The cap may be disposed at the second end of the housing and may be connected to the bolt carrier. The free-floating mass may be slidably disposed in the housing. A length of the free-floating mass may be less than a length of the interior of the housing between the cap and the first end.

BUFFER TUBE INSERT AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

A buffer tube insert includes an elongated portion and one or more projections extending from the elongated portion. The one or more projections are configured for insertion into one or more corresponding notches on a buffer tube. Each projection includes a connection arrangement such as, but not limited to, a threaded interior for receiving a connection member such as, but not limited to, a set screw that can facilitate the restriction of movement between the buffer tube and a gunstock.

Rifle with recoil group

A rifle has a fixed main body, including a barrel, a receiver with an upper opening, a breech element, and a trigger assembly at least partly accommodated in the receiver. The rifle has a slide assembly including a shutter group positioned on the receiver at the upper opening and axially movable by the user between an advanced shooting configuration and a retracted rearming configuration, and vice versa. The rifle includes a recoil group at least partially accommodated in the receiver, for cooperating with the slide assembly having a thrust device with a thrust lever, which is rotationally movable and a thrust spring, which performs torsional action on the thrust lever. The thrust lever extends between a lever upper end and a lever lower end. The lever upper end is suitable engageable with the advancing slide assembly to push it into the advanced configuration.

RECOIL BUFFER ASSEMBLY
20220299281 · 2022-09-22 ·

A captured spring recoil buffer has a rod with a flanged rear end and a shaft defining a pin passage slot. An action spring is fitted around the rod and is defined by a forward end and a rear end abutting against the flanged rear end of the rod. A buffer has a cylindrical sidewall and defines an axial bore, with the cylindrical sidewall further defining a pair of aligned crosswise pin openings normal to the bore axis. The buffer is in sliding engagement with the rod, and the forward end of the action spring abuts against the buffer. A dowel pin is positioned through the crosswise pin openings on the cylindrical sidewall of the buffer and through the pin passage slot of the shaft.

A buffer bumper assembly for use with some firearms that incorporate a recoil based operating system. The buffer bumper assembly may be disposed on a buffer bumper structure that may be installed inside of a recoil spring around an end thereof. The buffer bumper assembly comprises an upper segment, a lower segment, a biasing structure and a connector. The upper segment and lower segment are interconnected with the connector and reciprocally movable to one another. The upper segment and lower segment may be collectable disposable into and out of a compressed position and an uncompressed position. The biasing structure may at least partially assume the energy of an impact associated with a recoil cycle when it is compressed and when the upper segment and lower segment are collectively disposed in the compressed position.
