Semiautomatic firearm
A semiautomatic handgun includes various unique features to facilitate rapid, accurate shooting. Some examples of the handgun include a more compact recoil spring system, locating the recoil spring around the barrel while permitting rearward movement of the barrel in conjunction with the slide. Other examples include an automatic magazine release for releasing the magazine upon the discharge of the last cartridge in the magazine. Still other examples include a grooved or roughened top slide surface for facilitating slide manipulation with one hand. Further examples include auxiliary sight systems to facilitate determining the proper distance by which to lead a moving target. Other examples include a takedown tool stored within the handgun.

Firearm assembly having a locking block and slide
A firearm assembly including a receiver, a barrel, a locking block and a slide configured to provide rapid changing of a barrel of a handgun wherein the barrel may be for an alternate caliber round of ammunition. The locking block is configured to be secured within the receiver and includes an upper surface that has front rise member, a rear rise member and a valley intermediate thereto. The upper surface of the locking block is mateably shaped with the second portion of the barrel, in particular the lower portion thereof. The lower portion includes a front shoulder member, a rear shoulder member and a notch formed therebetween wherein the notch is configured to mateably engage the rear rise member of the locking block. The slide of the present invention includes a void intermediate the sidewall and the extractor housing. A shim is provided to be secured within the void.
Multi bore barrel for pistol
A gun barrel that has a proximal chamber end, a distal muzzle end, and an internal bore bounded by a bore wall where the internal bore has a cartridge chamber at the proximal chamber end of the barrel, a first rifled bore section distal to the cartridge chamber, a second rifled bore section at the distal muzzle end of the barrel, and a reducing section distal to the first rifled bore section and connecting the first rifled bore section and the second rifled bore section.
Firearm barrel assembly
The barrel of a pistol, specifically in a short recoil operated pistol, is comprised of multiple bearings surfaces comprised of cams and lugs that allow the pistol to function. The surfaces mechanically delay the pistol enough to allow the pistol to reliably function in the manner of an automatic firearm, chambering a round at the end of each cycle of operation. A barrel that locates a forward lug positioned horizontally in front of the trigger guard of the pistol with side cams that are shallow and interact in a way to provide the pistol with a robust and consistent lock up from shot to shot to provide an advantage in the function of the firearm.
SUPPRESSIBLE AND UNIVERSAL HANDGUN BARREL
Provided is a replacement pistol barrel for reliable operation when suppressed and that will universally fit multiple versions of a handgun model.
Gun lock
A magazine is provided for a firearm. The magazine comprises a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism has a user interface adapted to enable a user to select between a locked condition and an unlocked condition. The locking mechanism has a rotor movable between a first rotational position when the locking mechanism is in the locked condition and a second rotational position when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked condition. The magazine comprises an elongated shaft connected to the rotor. The magazine comprises a block element connected to the elongated shaft. The block element is adapted to move between a first position when the locking mechanism is in the locked condition in which at least one of firearm operation and magazine extraction are prevented, and a second position when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked condition in which firearm operation and magazine extraction are enabled.
Barrel bushing
A firearm including a barrel bushing is disclosed. The barrel bushing provides for guidance of the slide without a need for forward rails. The barrel bushing is retained by a bushing stop that allows the slide to be removed while the recoil spring and bushing are retained on the barrel.
