Firearm with a magazine holder
Firearms including magazine holders operable from either side of the firearm. The magazine holder includes two interconnected actuating elements, pivotable with respect to one another and separable from one another by longitudinal shifting, and a spring. The magazine holder is configured so that when pressure is applied to a right actuating element, a moment of force is applied to a first actuating element, which it cannot follow, and so both actuating elements, without changing their relative position to one another, are shifted against the force of the spring normal to the weapon median plane, removing a locking extension from the magazine housing. Upon actuation of the left actuating element, a stop on the right actuating element prevents its shift transverse to the weapon median plane, and so the first actuating element pivots against the force of the spring, and the locking extension is again moved from the locking element.

Magazine holders for firearms, including two actuating elements and a spring, where the first actuating element-has a locking extension for the temporary attachment of a magazine and a first actuating extension, the second actuating element has a second actuating extension, and where the two actuating elements are (operatively) connected to one another such that the locking extension releases the fastening of the magazine counter to the tension of the spring during a release movement onto one of the two actuating elements. Each actuating element is designed as one piece, in that the second actuating element has a bearing extension on an end section facing away form the second actuating extension and connected by a connecting section, and the first actuating element has a substantially shape-complementary bearing opening for receiving the bearing extension in an assembling position.
MAGAZINE HOLDER FOR A FIREARM
Magazine holders for firearms, including two actuating elements and a spring, where the first actuating element-has a locking extension for the temporary attachment of a magazine and a first actuating extension, the second actuating element has a second actuating extension, and where the two actuating elements are (operatively) connected to one another such that the locking extension releases the fastening of the magazine counter to the tension of the spring during a release movement onto one of the two actuating elements. BOLT CARRIER FOR MAGAZINE-FED FIREARM
A bolt carrier that facilitates seating a full magazine in the lower receiver of a magazine-fed gas-operated firearm with the bolt in a closed position. The bolt carrier includes a recessed portion that aligns with a top cartridge in a full magazine when the bolt carrier is in a closed position to provide additional space for the full magazine to be inserted into the magazine well. The recessed portion provides a space for the top cartridge to nest when the bolt carrier is in the closed position.
BOLT CARRIER FOR MAGAZINE-FED FIREARM
A bolt carrier that facilitates seating a full magazine in the lower receiver of a magazine-fed gas-operated firearm with the bolt in a closed position. The bolt carrier includes a recessed portion that aligns with a top cartridge in a full magazine when the bolt carrier is in a closed position to provide additional space for the full magazine to be inserted into the magazine well. The recessed portion provides a space for the top cartridge to nest when the bolt carrier is in the closed position.
AMMUNITION STORAGE AND FEEDING SYSTEM
Ammunition storage and feeding system for light weapons that facilitates a continuous loading of the weapon, thereby relieving the user from multiple magazine replacements, and reducing potential weapon stoppages, thus providing more reliable and significantly uninterruptable use of the weapon with respect to operating the weapon with conventional magazines. According to an embodiment of the invention, the system is configured to automatically receive interlinked cartridges from a carrying device (e.g., a backpack or other convenient device harnessed to the user's body) through a flexible or semi-flexible leading means, to successively extract the cartridges from the linking arrangement and to successively feed each extracted cartridge into a dedicated magazine in a First In First Out (FIFO) manner.
Magazine base plate assembly
A magazine base plate assembly including a base plate having opposing interior side walls with a base plate passage extending through the base plate, and wherein at least one opposing channel is formed within each of the opposing interior side walls; and a base plate insert that is slidably positioned within at least a portion of the base plate passage between a retracted position and an extended position within at least a portion of the base plate passage, wherein in the retracted position one or more of extending tabs extend from flexible tabs into at least a portion of each of the opposing channels, and wherein if each of the flexible tabs is urged a sufficient distance towards an internal insert chamber of the base plate insert, the extending tabs are withdrawn from the opposing channels, allowing the base plate insert to move toward the extended position.
Firearm system and method
Embodiments of the invention include a firearm system and method of assembly of the firearm system including a receiver complex including a receiver coupled to a forward receiver. A feed port is positioned between the receiver and the forward receiver, and a striker coil assembly is positioned proximate the receiver, and includes a plurality of strikers each extending at least partially through a coil. An interchangeable barrel is coupled to the forward receiver forming a breech. In some embodiments, the firearm system includes a breech that includes a plurality of side-by-side bores of the barrel. Some embodiments include a magazine coupled to the receiver complex adjacent the feedport to simultaneously feed more than one dischargeable projectile into the feedport with a single charge block. In some embodiments, the charge block includes a plurality of chambers and a plurality of projectiles positioned within the plurality of chambers.
