CONFIGURABLE WEAPON STATION HAVING UNDER ARMOR RELOAD
A vehicle-mounted weapon station is configurable to adjust the height of a rotational elevation axis thereof. The weapon station is provided with at least one fixed hanging ammunition container that is reloadable under the armored protection of the vehicle and the weapon station shell. The weapon station may have both electrically-powered and manually-powered drive systems for rotating a pedestal about an azimuth axis relative to the vehicle, and for rotating weaponry and operational units about the elevation axis, wherein the electrical and manual drive systems transmit power through the same output gear.
Combat optimized ballistic remote armament with safety feature
A remote weapon system (RWS) for an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) includes a dedicated weapon, multi-axis gimbal and ammunition handling capabilities with all operations functioning remotely and wirelessly. The RWS comprises system-level and component-level safety features which preclude the weapon of the remote weapon system from being operable if removed from the remote weapon system.

Bolt capture and release mechanism and method for an imitation machine gun
Electromagnetic force holds a reciprocatively movable bolt in a charged position in resistance to compressive force from a bolt actuating spring, while generating recoil impacts that simulate firing rounds of ammunition from an ammunition belt in imitation machine gun. Terminating the electromagnetic force allows the compressive force from the actuating spring to move the bolt from the charged position after simulating the firing of the last round from the ammunition belt.

Ammunition belt capture and release mechanism and method for an imitation machine gun
A simulated ammunition belt is captured in and released from a feedway of an imitation machine gun by selectively extending and retracting a retaining projection into the space between adjacent simulated rounds of the ammunition belt. The retaining projection is operably connected to a cover of the gun housing and is concealed within the housing when the cover is closed.
Modular weapon station system
A modular weapon station includes a rotatable frame adapted to be mounted on a platform and is configured to have a removable cradle with a weapon mounted thereon. The rotatable frame may also include a removable ammunition feed chute, an optical sighting unit, and azimuth and elevation drives. The modular weapon station may also include a rotatable drum and ammunition loading assembly coupled with the rotatable frame assembly. The rotatable drum and ammunition loading assembly may be located in an under armor position such that an operator may replenish ammunition from an under armor position and not be subjected to hostile fire while replenishing ammunition. Belted ammunition rounds may travel along an ammunition feed path stemming from the loading assembly within the rotatable drum to a selected weapon.
