A weapon system includes a rotatable part having a plurality of barrels arranged in an array, a drive motor connected to the rotatable part so as to drive the barrels in rotation, a static part positioned rearwardly of the rotatable part, a magazine positioned rearwardly of the static part, and an ammunition feed mechanism cooperative with projectiles in the magazine so as to move the projectiles from the magazine to a position adjacent to the end of the plurality of barrels. The static part has a plurality of combustion chambers communicating with the plurality of barrels and with the end of the plurality of barrels. The combustion chambers are adapted to ignite a gaseous fuel therein so as to drive a projectile outwardly through the barrels. A plurality of actuators are adapted to load the projectiles into the end of the plurality of barrels.

Speed loader for T-shirt gatling gun

A T-shirt Gatling gun speed loader that includes a series of tubes that mate with the tubes of a T-shirt Gatling gun. T-shirts to be loaded into the T-shirt Gatling gun are located in the speed loader tubes. A series of pushrods are located coaxially with the speed loader tubes and extend for a distance that is approximately the length of the tubes of the T-shirt Gatling gun. These pushrods are mounted at a second end to a push plate so that by inserting the speed loader tubes into the T-shirt Gatling gun tubes and pushing the push plate, the T-shirts are loaded into the T-shirt Gatling gun at a distance to allow proper firing of the T-shirts. The speed loader is then withdrawn from the T-shirt Gatling gun.

ROTOR HOUSING FOR MINIGUN
20240393081 · 2024-11-28 ·

An assembly for quickly attaching and detaching the guide bar to and from the rotor housing of a minigun is provided. The assembly comprises a guide bar and a rotor housing. The guide bar includes a front end having a pinhole extending through the front end and a rear end having a locking cam. The rotor housing includes a recessed channel configured to receive the locking cam and a spring-loaded lock pin assembly configured to secure the front end of the guide bar. The guide bar is secured to the rotor housing when the locking cam is inserted into the recessed channel and the spring-loaded lock pin assembly secures the front end of the guide bar. The assembly allows the guide bar to quickly be attached and detached from the rotor housing without the need for tools. The rotor housing may be designed without a yoke to reduce weight.

Delinker loaded round indicator

A machine gun (e.g., a minigun) is provided with a delinker including a loaded round indicator. The loaded round indictor is configured to rest flush with an outer surface of a rear door of the delinker when the rear door is closed and an ammunition cartridge is not fully loaded into the delinker. The loaded round indictor is further configured to extend outwardly from the outer surface of the rear door when the rear door is closed and an ammunition cartridge is fully loaded into the delinker.

A delinking feeder of a minigun includes an access door mounted to a delinking feeder housing and movable between a closed position and an open position. The access door has an enclosed recess for receiving a tongue that is rotationally coupled to the access door and is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position. When the access door is in the open position, the tongue is in the deployed position and a tongue first contact surface can contact and secure a linked cartridge positioned in the delinking feeder. When the access door is in the closed position, the tongue is in the retracted position and a tongue second contact surface can contact and guide a cartridge positioned in the delinking feeder. The enclosed recess is covered so that when the access door is in the closed position, the tongue does not protrude through the access door.

Delinker with cylindrical pushrods for machine gun

A machine gun (e.g., a minigun) has a delinker including cylindrical or round pushrods inserted in complementary slots in a carrier. The generally cylindrical pushrod and corresponding slots in the carrier require less machining steps than prior rectangular, T shaped or H shaped pushrods and complementary carrier slots making them faster and less expensive to produce and replace. The cylindrical pushrods apply force evenly to heads of ammunition cartridges received in the delinker as they push rounds forward within the delinker such that the rounds are not forced outward from a longitudinal axis of the delinker by the pushrod as the pushrod. A front face of the pushrod has a recess corresponding to a primer of the ammunition cartridge pushed forward by the pushrod within the delinker such that the pushrods do not contact the primer of the ammunition cartridge.
