In operative connection with the circuit board is a memory, a video camera, integrated with a lens, that generates video data to be stored on the memory, a microphone that generates audio data to be stored on the memory, and a power supply. A power switch connects power to the controller from the power supply in an on position and disconnects power to the controller in an off position. The video camera generates video data and the microphone generates audio data when the power switch is in the on position.

Method and device for detecting unauthorized tranfer between persons

A method of confirming the identity of a person who issued a token to signify eligibility for a privilege. Possession token is confirmed to be by the same person by using sensors in the token which track the movements of the person. A machine learning system is trained to evaluate the sensor data detecting transfer of possession of the token. The state of continuous possession since the token was issued or set to an enabled state is confirmed and the privilege is granted. The method of identity confirmation is used in various contexts such as for to control entry to a location, use of a facility or service. It is also useful to determine continuous possession of a weapon to prevent misuse after the weapon is stolen, dropped or lost. Servers, beacons and outside sources of data or inputs to be measured by the sensor can also be used.

Geolocation-reporting weapon-tracking device

Provided is a method that includes determining a device geolocation based on a satellite signal received by a weapon-tracking device and receiving a sensor reading using a sensor attached to the weapon-tracking device, wherein the sensor is sensitive to a use of the weapon. The instructions include determining that a change in the sensor reading satisfies a change threshold and, in response to a determination that the change threshold is satisfied, transmitting device state data to a wireless signal receiver via a wireless signal, wherein the device state data comprises a device identifier and the device geolocation. The instructions further include storing the device identifier and the device geolocation in a data server in communication with the wireless signal receiver and transmitting a message based on the device identifier and device geolocation to a client from the data server.

Apparatus, system, and method for restrictive or selective firearm and smart gun weapon control

A firearm, the firearm comprising: a grip; a transparent window located on the rear of the grip; at least one electromagnetic sensor located within the grip, and configured to receive electromagnetic radiation from outside of the grip through the transparent window; a computing device located in the grip and in communication with the LED and the electromagnetic sensor; where the electromagnetic sensor is configured to detect incoming electromagnetic radiation traveling through the transparent window from outside of the grip; and the computing device is configured to allow the firearm to fire if the computing device determines that the incoming electromagnetic radiation corresponds to an authorized user for the firearm. A firearm system, the firearm comprising: an external charging circuit, the external charging circuit comprising: a resonant inductive coil; a power supply in operable communication with the coil; a rechargeable power storage device in operable communication with the coil; a firearm configured to removably connect to the external charging circuit, the firearm comprising: a resonant inductive coil; a power supply in operable communication with the coil; a rechargeable storage device in operable communication with the coil; firearm electronics in operable communication with the power supply; mechanical controls in operable communication with the power supply; a mechanical squeeze generator in operable communication with the power supply.

ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED SAFETY SYSTEM FOR USE IN FIREARMS AND A METHOD FOR ITS USE
20220136790 · 2022-05-05 ·

The present device is an electronically controlled safety system for use in firearms, comprising a shape memory actuator configured to connect a mechanical locking interface to a trigger mechanism interface comprising a point of connection to a firearm's trigger mechanism. This shape memory actuator can be controlled by use of an authentication system comprised of an RFID module and a control module. The user of the firearm can provide authorization to place the firearm in the armed position by placing an RFID tag having an activation code near the RFID module, which can then activate the shape memory actuator through the control module. When the mechanical locking interface is connected to the trigger mechanism interface a firearm's trigger mechanism is locked in place and the firearm is in a safe position and when the mechanical locking interface is not connected to the trigger mechanism is in an armed position.

LOCKABLE GUN MOUNT
20230250678 · 2023-08-10 ·

A lockable gun mount features a stock receiver, a trigger block, and a barrel lock. The stock receiver includes a base, sidewalls, a receiving aperture, and one or more fasteners. The trigger block includes a trigger rod and a wall member. The barrel lock includes a wall member, a hinged door coupled to the wall member, and a locking mechanism configured to secure the hinged door to the wall member. In some examples, the barrel lock further includes a biometric sensor. A cumulative force between the stock receiver, the trigger receiver, and the barrel lock prevents the gun from being removed from the lockable gun mount when secured to a wall or flat surface.

REMOTELY DETECTABLE AMMUNITION
20220128342 · 2022-04-28 ·

Disclosed is tagged ammunition, methods for making it, using it and detecting it to reduce gun violence. When implemented together with a smart phone coupled readers, standalone readers, or at a security center, software is included to allow integration of signals detected by multiple readers in the vicinity to map detectable ammunition detected by readers designed to detect tagged ammunition as a proxy for loaded firearms. This makes possible securing an area of interest, when combined with placing of at least one networkable reader in the vicinity of the area of interest; and connecting the one or more readers to a monitoring center. Such monitoring centers may be associated with schools, shopping malls, streets, public meetings, public events, housing complexes, an area being swept for loaded guns, an area being monitored for gang activity, or even a residence.

Weapon usage monitoring system with unified video depiction of deployment location

Systems and methods are provided for combining video and virtual reality presentations, comprising a server device running application software that receives, at a connection point, a plurality of video signals from a plurality of assets within a deployment location, a video processing facility configured to sync the plurality of video signals to generate a time-matched, unified video depiction of the deployment location, where the unified video depiction presents at least one of positions, orientations, actions or affiliations of the plurality of the assets within the deployment location, and a graphical user interface presenting a field of view of the unified video depiction of the deployment location.
