GRIP SAFETY INTERLOCK FOR FIREARM
An example grip safety interlock can include a lower receiver with a trigger assembly, a safety selector having a detent channel, a grip having an internal recess, an extended detent pin having a detent point and an interference abutment surface, a grip safety lever having an interference ledge, and a lever bias spring positioned within the grip, extending between the grip and the grip safety lever. The grip safety lever can be positioned to pivot within the internal recess of the grip, and the extended detent pin can extend within the grip such that the detent point contacts the detent channel of the safety selector. The lever bias spring can push the grip safety lever to a first pivot position such that the interference ledge of the grip safety lever abuts the interference abutment surface of the extended detent pin to prevent movement and rotation of the safety selector.

Interrupted semi-automatic action for firearms
forward closed breech position in battery with the barrel and rearward open breech position, a cockable hammer controlled by a trigger, and a bolt release mechanism operably interacting with the bolt. The mechanism may comprise a user-actuated release button and spring-biased disconnect lever coupled thereto and selectively engageable with the hammer. Upon firing, the bolt travels rearward under recoil contacting and partially rotating the disconnect lever to engage the hammer, while simultaneously engaging the hammer which holds the bolt rearward. Actuating the release button fully rotates the disconnect lever to disengage the hammer from the bolt which returns to its forward position via a recoil spring to reclose the breech. A dual interlock safety in one position provided by the release mechanism prevents pulling the trigger and in another position prevents actuating the release button.

A safety selector assembly for a firearm is provided. The safety selector assembly can include a core member and one or more levers removably coupled to the core member. The core member can include a first end and a second end. The core member can also include at least one shelf recessed into the outer surface of the core member. The core member can also include at least two throws disposed on the core member and between the shelf and the second end of the core member. Each throw can have a different angle of rotation between positions for allowing and preventing movement of a trigger assembly on the firearm. The core member can also include a first post on the first end and a second post on the second end of the core member. A lever can be rotatably coupled to each of the first and second posts.

A safety selector assembly for a firearm is provided. The safety selector assembly can include a core member and one or more levers removably coupled to the core member. Provided is a trigger mechanism having a housing, a trigger member, a trigger dog, and a striker dog. The trigger member is pivotally mounted in the housing, movable between set and pulled positions. The trigger dog is pivotally mounted in the housing and a first lever arm portion of the trigger dog engages a lever arm portion of the trigger member by a first over-center linkage. The striker dog is pivotally mounted in the housing, movable between set and released positions with a lever arm portion engaged to a second lever arm portion of the trigger dog by a second over-center linkage. The over-center linkages are configured to inhibit rotation of the striker dog from the set position to the released position until the trigger member is manipulated from the set position to the pulled position with a force greater than an engagement threshold of the over-center linkages.
Bolt release mechanism for firearm
A firearm with manually operated bolt release includes a receiver defining a longitudinally-extending cavity, a barrel, and a bolt slideably mounted in the receiver for reciprocating axial movement between a forward closed breech position in battery with the barrel and a rearward open breech position. A recoil spring biases the bolt forward towards the closed breech position. A manually actuated bolt release is pivotably mounted in the firearm and movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The bolt release includes a locking portion configured to selectively engage a locking recess formed on the bolt for holding the bolt in the open breech position, and disengage the locking recess for releasing the bolt to reclose the breech. In one embodiment, the bolt may be automatically disengaged from the bolt release by retracting the bolt a second time.
