FIREARM OPERATING SYSTEM
20240060740 · 2024-02-22 ·

A firearm operating system includes a housing, a central pivoting member disposed within the housing, a trigger including a portion disposed within the housing and a portion extending outside the housing such that the portion of the trigger within the housing includes a hole and at least one finger that extends in a first direction from the hole. Due to movement of the trigger, the at least one finger presses against the central pivoting member to cause the central pivoting member to rotate.

Firing control system with multiple safeties

A firing control system with multiple safeties is disclosed. It comprises a base, a return spring, a firing pin releaser, and a trigger connecting bar. The trigger connecting bar is connected with the trigger of the pistol and has a firing safety portion with a T shape. The design of the firing safety portion with a limit protrusion portion of the firing pin releaser of the present invention form a safety mechanism for unintentional discharge of the pistol, which improves the problem that the existing improved products are easy to cause the pistol to fire under an unfired state.

Sear system for a firearm
10422602 · 2019-09-24 · ·

A firing mechanism for a firearm is provided for reducing maximum trigger pull weight attributable to a sear and for reducing trigger pre-travel and over-travel distances. The firing mechanism includes a sear actuator with a trigger engagement leg that engages with a trigger bar at a reduced trigger travel distance. The firing mechanism also includes an increased trigger bar contact distance, thus reducing trigger pull weight.

Modified trigger assembly and method for actuating a repeated shot
10415916 · 2019-09-17 ·

A modified trigger assembly for a handgun has a shortened trigger bar with an angled end that engages a connector to form a gap that reduces potential energy between the trigger bar and the connector, such that the connector is inhibited from disengaging from the trigger bar when the trigger is pulled or released. A gap forms between an angled end of the trigger bar and a first end of the connector. The gap and the shortened length of the trigger bar reduce potential energy forces that could disengage the connector from the trigger bar. By remaining engaged with the trigger bar, the connector is prevented from resetting to a natural position; and consequently, the handgun can discharge from both a trigger pull position and a trigger release position. Consequently, a repeated shot occurs when releasing the trigger after a natural triggering movement of pulling a trigger.
