PIVOTING CARBINE CONVERSION ASSEMBLY

An assembly (10) includes a forward unit (12) including a mounting portion (16) for mounting thereon a firearm, the forward unit (12) defining a projectile shooting axis (20), and a rearward unit (14) coupled to the forward unit (12). The rearward unit (14) includes a retractable buttstock (24) that has a retracted position and an extended position. In the extended position the rearward unit (14) is pivotable with respect to the forward unit (12) about a pivot axis (26) which is tilted relative to the projectile shooting axis (20).

SOUND TRIGGERED FIREARM

Apparatus and methods facilitating the discharge of a firearm by sound are disclosed. The present invention relates to methods and means of firing a firearm on the firearms receipt of a sound avoiding the use of a mechanical trigger facilitating the grip of the firearm not changing during the act of firing avoiding any motion by the shooter therefore improving the accuracy of the aim of the firearm. No personalization or additional security is incorporated in the firearm.

Trigger Actuator
20200256632 · 2020-08-13 ·

A device for pulling the trigger of a firearm includes an actuator, a controller in signal communication with the actuator and a switch in communication with the controller. The actuator mounts on the firearm adjacent to the trigger. The actuator has a body movable into engagement with the trigger for pulling the trigger. The body is movable out of engagement with the trigger permitting the trigger to reset. The controller is adapted to transmit first and second commands to the actuator. The first command directs moving the body into engagement with the trigger, and the second command directs moving the body out of engagement with the trigger. The switch is adapted to transmit a first signal to the controller causing the controller to transmit the first command to the actuator, and a second signal to the controller for causing the controller to transmit the second command to the actuator.

A method for disassembling and converting a traditional AR-pattern firearm into a bullpup configuration of a semi-automatic rifle firearm assembly includes releasing and removing at least a firearm but stock and a standard bolt carrier group from the rifle firearm and then replacing the removed components with elements from a bullpup kit, namely a bullpup bolt carrier group that includes a bolt carrier and a spring assembly, the spring assembly having compression spring that is loaded when the bolt carrier recoils.

Weapon energy harvesting by gas turbine electric generator

A power generation assembly for a weapon system converts waste energy from a firing event to electric power. The power generation assembly directs expanding burning propellant gasses within the weapon system into a turbine array to generate electric current. The electric current is rectified to trickle charge a battery bank which then powers the weapon system.
