TRIGGER DEVICE
A trigger device for activating a firing mechanism, the trigger device comprising a housing, a trigger pivotally mounted on the housing via a trigger pivot pin, a sear arm comprising a first sear surface, a ticker extending generally from the trigger to the sear arm, the ticker pivotable about a ticker pivot pin, the ticker comprising spaced apart flanges, each of which comprises an aperture defining at least a first contact surface, and a captured roller positioned at least partially within the apertures, wherein in a captured position the first sear surface and the first contact surfaces engage the captured roller and in a released position the first contact surfaces disengage from the captured roller to allow the captured roller to move within the aperture.
Trigger Mechanism For A Firearm
A trigger mechanism is disclosed. The trigger mechanism contains a trigger element containing a first aperture, a trigger coupled with the trigger element, a disconnector containing a second aperture, and a trigger element pin sleeve containing a third aperture, wherein the trigger element is pivotally coupled with the disconnector by the trigger element pin sleeve positioned in the first aperture and the second aperture.
DYNAMIC VARIABLE FORCE TRIGGER MECHANISM FOR FIREARMS
A magnetically variable firing system for a firearm includes a trigger mechanism allowing a user to selectively adjust the trigger pull force-displacement profile by changing the static magnetic field in the mechanism. In a closed magnetic loop configuration, the trigger mechanism includes a stationary yoke and pivotably movable trigger member. The trigger member includes a trigger portion and working portion operably interfaced with the firing mechanism of the firearm for discharging the firearm. An openable first air gap formed between the trigger member and yoke is maintained in a closed position via magnetic attraction therebetween absent a trigger pull. A control insert movable relative to a second control air gap in the yoke allows adjustment of the static magnetic field to alter the trigger pull force required to actuate the trigger mechanism. Other embodiments provide open magnetic loop trigger mechanism designs adjustable to magnetically vary the trigger pull force.
ADJUSTABLE FORCE TRIGGER MECHANISM
A trigger assembly having a user-adjustable actuation force. The trigger assembly includes a trigger and indexing pin that are rotatable about a pivot axis and mounted to a locking block of a firearm. A torsion spring bridges the indexing pin and the locking block. Rotation of the indexing pin in a first rotational direction increases the actuation force of the trigger assembly, while rotation of the indexing pin in a second, opposite rotational direction decreases the actuation force. The end user is able to adjust the actuation force of the trigger without procuring additional components and without requiring the services of a locksmith. A safety trigger has a lower pivot point on the trigger and provides a stop that prevents retraction of the trigger unless the safety trigger is retracted first.

FIRE CONTROL GROUP
A fire control group has a receiver having opposed sidewalls defining a space configured to receive a fire control group, the opposed sidewalls each defining a pivot pin aperture, the pivot pin apertures being registered with each other, a fire control group including a trigger received in the space, the fire control group defining a transverse pivot pin passage configured to be registered with the pivot pin apertures of the receiver, the fire control group including a pivoting operational element, the fire control group including a pivot pin supporting the pivoting operational element and received in the transverse pivot pin passage and the pivot pin apertures, the firearm having a hand grip aft of the trigger and defining a screw aperture, and a grip screw engaging the hand grip and engaging the fire control group. The grip screw may occupy a medial plane of the firearm.

Firearm
An improved trigger assembly for a firearm includes twin disconnectors that are each independently selectable and adjustable to provide different trigger pull weights. The trigger assembly may be operably controlled by the safety selector which defines several different shaped engaging surfaces that allow the operator to selectively choose which of the disconnectors to operate with the firearm.
