Mechanism for selectively preventing cycling of a semiautomatic handgun
Provided is a mechanism for selectively preventing cycling of a semiautomatic handgun having a frame and a longitudinally reciprocating slide. The device includes a pivotal blocking lever on one of the slice or frame. The blocking lever is selectively movable between a first position that allows the slide to cycle when the handgun is fired and a second position in which a blocking member mechanically bridges between the frame and slide to block cycling movement of the slide when the handgun is fired.
ADJUSTABLE FORCE TRIGGER MECHANISM
A trigger assembly having a user-adjustable actuation force. The trigger assembly includes a trigger and indexing pin that are rotatable about a pivot axis and mounted to a locking block of a firearm. A torsion spring bridges the indexing pin and the locking block. Rotation of the indexing pin in a first rotational direction increases the actuation force of the trigger assembly, while rotation of the indexing pin in a second, opposite rotational direction decreases the actuation force. The end user is able to adjust the actuation force of the trigger without procuring additional components and without requiring the services of a locksmith. A safety trigger has a lower pivot point on the trigger and provides a stop that prevents retraction of the trigger unless the safety trigger is retracted first.

Pivot Arm Trigger Assembly
Adjustability of trigger pull force is enable by the use of a spring interfacing with a trigger shoe counterweight. The spring force is adjustable by use of a set screw interfacing with the spring. A pivot arm member acts between a trigger shoe counterweight and a firing pin release arm to fix the ratio of trigger shoe pull force and firing pin release arm force.

Firearm with a trigger group comprising an adjustment device
A firearm, such as a rifle, has a trigger group operable by the user in order to control the shooting action. The trigger group includes a trigger and an adjustment device for adjusting the intensity needed to operate the trigger. The adjustment device includes a rod (151) movable by the trigger extending between a trigger end and a free end. A command member engaged with the rod is positionable in a predefined operating axial position. The rod slidably engages with the command member. A thrust spring acts on the rod between the engagement end and the command member. Elastic action of the thrust spring on the trigger is a function of the axial operating position of the command member.
