DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING SYNCHRONIZED DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS
20240118049 · 2024-04-11 ·

A firearm synchronized discharge device for facilitating a synchronized discharge of two or more firearms are described together with associated systems, firearms and methods. The device includes an actuator for engaging with a movable trigger of a first firearm, a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a force applied to the trigger and a first controller operatively coupled to the sensor and to the actuator. The actuator is configurable between a first configuration that prevents movement of the trigger toward a firearm-discharge position of the trigger, and a second configuration that permits movement of the trigger toward the firearm-discharge position of the trigger. When the force meets a criterion and the one or more other firearms are ready for discharge, the actuator is caused to transition from the first configuration to the second configuration to permit actuation of the trigger and discharge of the firearm.

ROTATABLE FIREARM BOLT ASSEMBLY AND FIREARMS INCLUDING THE SAME
20240151497 · 2024-05-09 · ·

Firearm bolt assemblies and firearms including the same are described. In embodiments the firearm bolt assemblies are configured to localize compressive forces applied during a transition from an initial position to a firing position to a first cam system on one side of the firearm bolt assembly, and to localize compressive forces applied during a transition from the firing position to the initial position to a second cam system another side of the firearm bolt assembly. Localizing the forces in that manner enables the use of a first cam system that is relatively robust compared to the second cam system.

Gun frame and gun with additional features

A gun frame comprising one or more regions to which a non-lethal (e.g., a flashlight or laser sight) or less-lethal component (e.g., tear gas, pepper spray, or an electrical weapon) may be attached is disclosed. The gun frame may also support a dual-trigger system. A gun comprising the disclosed gun frame with the dual triggering system comprises one trigger which fires a traditional gun's payload, and a second trigger which causes a non-lethal or less-lethal component to fire, while blocking the accidental firing of the traditional payload. Most embodiments of the gun comprising the disclosed frame also have a rechargeable battery, preferably mounted on the gun's magazine, which powers those components requiring electricity.

A weapon which has a completely modular design. For this purpose, the weapon is subdivided into weapon-specific assemblies which are designed as carrier units of the components and/or of the modular assemblies of the weapon. A first assembly can be a modular weapon housing. Said weapon housing has a carrier unit into which a breech system of the weapon and its components are built. Another modular assembly is a weapon cradle. Into this modular assembly the weapon housing module with breech system is integrated. The weapon housing module can be complemented with the weapon barrel module. The components are connected to the modular assemblies and the modular assemblies to each other by means of rails and guides and complementary rails and guides for the assemblies, by binders and holders, by pins, bolts and quick release fasteners.

Weapon with a barrel cluster
10254079 · 2019-04-09 · ·

A weapon having a barrel cluster, having at least one, preferably multiple, weapon barrel(s) and having a bolt, and only one of the weapon barrels is oriented in alignment with the single bolt and interacts therewith for the purposes of firing. The barrel cluster has a front, muzzle-side barrel holder and has a rear, bolt-side barrel holder, and has, in a partial region, a control body with a control cam which is incorporated on the circumference. By way of said control cam, the barrel cluster can be adjusted as a whole and independently of the firing of the weapon. The control body is preferably electronically rotated, for which purpose a pin of the actuator engages into the control cam of the control body.

Systems, devices, apparatus and methods for providing a semi-automatic rifle with ammunition magazine, having a docking port/station for allowing a semi-automatic pistol to be inserted. The trigger on the pistol can be used to fire the rifle and use the rifle ammunition. When the rifle ammunition is depleted, the pistol can be removed and separately fired using its' own ammunition.

Less-lethal ballistic projectile launcher
10139173 · 2018-11-27 ·

The light-weight handheld less-lethal ballistic projectile launcher is configured as an over/under double barrel handheld device with a break open loading action. The launcher includes a barrel section pivotally connected to receiver section. The barrel section pivots between an open load/unload position and a closed firing position. The barrel section includes two metal barrel sleeves that are press fit into axial bores formed in the body of the barrel section. The barrel section also includes an ejector, which locks the barrel section in the closed firing position and partially expels spent rounds from the barrel sleeves when the barrel section is opened. The receiver section houses the launcher's fire control mechanism. The fire control mechanism uses a traditional single action operation and ensures that rounds are alternatively discharged from each barrel and prevents rounds from both barrels from being discharged simultaneously.
