Firing pin spring retaining clip assembly
A firing pin spring retaining clip assembly that displaces water and/or debris to enable a firing pin to move to discharge a firearm. The firing pin spring retaining clip assembly has at least one retaining clip with an exterior face and an interior face that extend between a first front edge and a rear edge. The at least one retaining clip further has at least one protrusion with a second front edge. The second front edge has a first width. The length is longer than the first width is wide. The at least one retaining clip mounts onto the firing pin having a retaining wall and a spring. In another embodiment, the at least one retaining clip also has at least one full protrusion having a third front edge and the length of the first front edge is also longer than width of the third front edge.

AR STYLE RECEIVER COMPATIBLE WITH PISTOL MAGAZINES AND CARTRIDGES
A firearm compatible with pistol magazines and cartridges is disclosed. The firearm may include an upper receiver. The firearm also may include a bolt carrier having at least one fixed bolt carrier key extending therefrom. In addition, the firearm may include a recoil spring guide rod. The at least one bolt carrier key may be slidably attached to the recoil spring guide rod. A recoil spring may be disposed on the recoil spring guide rod between the at least one bolt carrier key and a recoil bumper.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIMFIRE RIFLE
Semi-automatic rimfire rifles have a frame, a bolt operable to reciprocate within the frame, the bolt defining a bolt axis, the bolt defining a firing pin passage, a first firing pin portion received within at least a first portion of the firing pin passage, a second firing pin portion separate from the first firing pin portion received within at least a second portion of the firing pin passage, and the first firing pin portion being operable to contact the second firing pin portion such that the second firing pin portion discharges a cartridge in response to the first firing pin portion being struck by a hammer. The first firing pin portion may define a first firing pin axis aligned with the bolt axis. The second firing pin portion may have a nose portion that is offset from the bolt axis extending away from the first firing pin portion.
FIRING MECHANISM FOR A FIREARM
A firing mechanism for a firearm is provided for reducing maximum trigger pull weight attributable to a sear and for reducing trigger pre-travel and over-travel distances. By this, the likelihood of sear flutter phenomena is greatly reduced while also decreasing or maintaining maximum trigger pull weight. Also, hand movement during firing is reduced helping to increase accuracy.

Firearm operating mechanisms and bolt release
An operating system for a firearm includes a trigger, a hammer, a disconnector, a pivoting arm, and a lower member. The trigger includes a lower portion, an upper portion, and a trigger pivot. The disconnector includes a lower portion, an upper portion, and a disconnector pivot. The pivoting arm includes a forward protrusion, a pivoting arm opening, and a pin extending through the pivoting arm opening. The lower member includes a lower member opening and a pin hole that is coaxial with the trigger pivot and the disconnector pivot. At least a portion of the trigger and at least a portion of the disconnector are disposed within the lower member opening. Motion of the trigger causes the forward protrusion of the pivoting arm to engage a bolt carrier group and hold the bolt carrier group in an open position.
