Light Trigger
A firearm has a trigger shield that is a protective loop surrounding a switch of the firearm and the switch actuates the function of the firearm when activated by a finger to start the firing process. The firearm has an emitter mounted on the trigger shield that propagates a light beam to a first receiver mounted on an opposite side of the trigger shield and a trigger dip configured as a part of the shield, the trigger dip providing an inclined resting surface for the finger.

Light Trigger
A firearm has a trigger shield that is a protective loop surrounding a first and second switch of the firearm and the switches actuate the function of the firearm when activated by a finger to start the firing process. The first switch is on a first side of the protective loop and the second switch is on a second side of the protective loop. The protective loop is vertically aligned having the first and second switches on respective shorter sides of the protective loop. The firearm further has a first emitter mounted on the trigger shield that propagates a first light beam to a first receiver mounted on an opposite side of the trigger shield and a second emitter mounted on the trigger shield that propagates a second light beam to a second receiver mounted on an opposite side of the trigger shield. When a finger depresses one of the switches, his/her finger is blocking the light beam and the firearm will not activate and when the finger is moved away from the light beam, the firearm discharges.

ELECTROMAGNETIC FIRING SYSTEM FOR FIREARM WITH INTERRUPTABLE TRIGGER CONTROL
An interruptible electronic trigger system for firearms includes a trigger unit comprising an electromagnetic actuator operably coupled to the firing mechanism and a programmable trigger microcontroller. The actuator is changeable between a non-powered unactuated position and powered actuated firing position. Upon detecting user initiated trigger activity, the trigger microcontroller transmits a shot initiated signal to an adaptive optics unit of a fire control targeting system mounted to the firearm when the trigger activity exceeds a preprogrammed trigger setpoint. A targeting microcontroller returns a shot authorization signal to the trigger microcontroller after performing ballistics computations based on sensor input and displaying a corrected reticle on the optics unit sight for user visual alignment with the target. Multiple trigger setpoints may be programmed to confirm continued intent to fire. The trigger microcontroller may deactivate the actuator and permit manual firing when preprogrammed maximum trigger force/displacement limits are exceeded.
Light Trigger
A firearm has an emitter that propagates a light beam to a receiver and at least two finger position beams that propagate horizontally along the firearm on either side of a switch that provides detection of a position of a finger when the finger blocks and unblocks the finger position beam. Further, when only two finger position beams are blocked, this indicates proper positioning of the finger placing the firearm into a dischargeable condition.

Electronic firing rifle assembly
An electronic firing rifle assembly includes a salvo rifle operable through electrical means to efficiently discharge a salvo of projectiles. The assembly includes a firearm receiver body that provides housing for internal action components. The firearm receiver body has an inner surface defined by cam slots. The assembly also includes a barrel subassembly having a barrel and a plurality of barrel guide cams extending radially within the cam slots formed in the firearm receiver body. The assembly also includes a reciprocating bolt defined by has an ammunition placement zone for retaining ammunition, such as a tround. A leaf spring ejects the ammunition after discharge of projectiles. The bolt is defined by a cam track that allows the bolt to rotatably and longitudinally reciprocate along a bolt translation path in a helical path. Data pertaining to the location and direction of projectile discharge is transmitted for identifying discharge locations and tracking.

WIRELESS FIREARM MECHANISM AND ASSOCIATED ACCESSORIES
A wireless firearm system is disclosed. The wireless firearm system includes a device computer processor operable to execute a set of computer-readable instructions. Attached to the device computer process is a device memory operable to store the set of computer-readable instructions. The device memory is operable to receive a first set of firearm values from a first firearm transmitter, receive a firing sequence command, and determine a second set of firearm values based at least in part on the firing sequence command. The device memory can determine the first set of firearm values is less than the second set of firearm values and communicate the firing sequence command to a firearm memory.
