Wiped muzzle device
A wiped muzzle device, such as a compensator, brake or flash suppressor. The wipe improves the function of the muzzle device by forcing muzzle blast gases through the ports or vents to either counter the force vector created by the muzzle blast gases or alter the mixing of gases to reduce muzzle flash.
FIREARMS INSTRUMENTING SYSTEM INTEGRATING DISTINCT MEASUREMENTS THAT INFLUENCES THE BALISTIC TRAJECTORY AND ITS CORRESPONDING DATA RETRIEVAL
A measurement and data integration system for the preparation of a firearm, to fire an accurate, precise shot, incorporating a tubular component containing two sensors to measure the speed of the projectile, further including a subsystem for the detection of the impact thereof and the measurement of the time of flight of the same, a subsystem for the measurement of the angles of inclination and cant; a calibration subsystem, a subsystem for communication with weather stations which consults and receives in real time the meteorological variables, as well as a microprocessor with a first operational programme that measures, requests, stores and manages all the aforementioned signals, and a second programme that includes an interface with the user.
Firearm Suppressor Quick Connect
Apparatuses, systems, and methods regarding an end cap for a firearm suppressor that enables the quick connect of another suppressor. The firearm suppressor includes a base that includes a first projectile pathway and is configured to be connected to a barrel of a firearm. The suppressor includes a baffle having a central aperture and an end cap having a first central opening and a second central opening. The baffle is positioned between the end cap and the base. The end cap includes a connector. The end cap includes a second projectile pathway that connects the first central opening and the second central opening. The connector is configured to connect to a second firearm suppressor. The connector may be a quick connect connector. The connector may include external threads, internal threads, one or more external lugs, and/or external locking teeth.
OPTIC GUARD FOR FIREARM
Some embodiments include an optic guard for a firearm, the optic guard including: a frame; and a bracket having a side to attach to a firearm assembly, the bracket integrally formed with the frame or fixably attached to the frame; wherein the frame is arranged to cover part of a front of an optic housing when the side of the bracket is attached to the firearm assembly. Other embodiments may be disclosed and/or claimed.
Threaded barrel with hidden threads
Firearms having threaded barrels with hidden threads. The barrel has a threaded portion disposed within the slide of the firearm when the firearm is in battery so that the muzzle end of the barrel is aligned with the muzzle end of the slide. The barrel is configured to couple with a barrel attachment, such as a thread protector, such that the coupling portion of the barrel attachment is disposed within the slide of the firearm when the firearm is in battery.
Over barrel muzzle device attachment system
An over barrel muzzle device attachment system including at least some of a gas block nut having a first externally threaded portion and a second externally threaded portion formed at a spaced apart location from the first externally threaded portion; a lock collar having a first internally threaded portion and a second internally threaded portion; a gas block lock ring having an at least partially internally threaded gas block lock ring aperture formed within at least a portion of a gas block lock ring aperture; a muzzle device adapter having a conical taper portion extending from an adapter muzzle end and a threaded portion extending along a portion of the muzzle device adapter, between the adapter muzzle end and an adapter barrel end; and an over barrel muzzle device having an externally threaded portion.
Firearm suppressor with gas deflector
Methods and systems are provided for firearm sound suppressors including a gas deflector. In one example, a suppressor comprises a housing, a projectile entrance, a projectile exit, one or more baffles, and a deflector chamber. The deflector extending outward from the housing and the deflector curving around a central axis of the suppressor.
Firearm turbine suppressor
In some embodiments, a firearm suppressor comprises a body comprising a sidewall defining a cavity. In some embodiments, the body is configured for attachment to a firearm such that a muzzle of the firearm barrel is oriented in the cavity. In some embodiments, the suppressor comprises a rotating member oriented in the cavity, which is arranged to rotate with respect to the body. In some embodiments, the rotating member comprises a plurality of turbine blades and a central aperture.
Taper lock interface to barrel-mount firearm accessory
A barrel-mountable accessory to couple to a muzzle end of a firearm barrel, including: a first side having an opening arranged to fit around the muzzle end of the barrel; and a second different side having a taper pin opening; and a taper pin insertable into the taper pin opening of the barrel-mountable accessory, wherein the taper pin includes: a length including a first region arranged to mate with a taper interface provided on the muzzle end of the barrel; the length further including a second region to contact a sidewall that defines the taper pin opening of the second side; and means for driving the taper pin into the taper pin opening, wherein the driving means is located on an end of the taper pin.
SOUND SUPPRESSOR WITH ADAPTER FOR USE WITH MUZZLE ACCESSORY
A system for installing a first muzzle accessory on a barrel of a firearm having a second muzzle accessory mounted thereto comprises an adapter configured to attach to the second muzzle accessory and a first muzzle accessory configured to attach to the adapter. The adapter serves to temporarily deactivate the second muzzle accessory when the adapter is attached to the second muzzle accessory.
