Muzzle device and blast sleeve
A muzzle device and blast sleeve system that includes a muzzle device having a muzzle device borehole, one or more venting apertures extending between the muzzle device borehole and an outer surface of the muzzle device, grouped venting apertures with at least one venting trough extending from or through each venting aperture to a muzzle device first end, and at least one screw recess; a blast sleeve having a blast sleeve borehole extending therethrough, wherein the blast sleeve borehole matingly corresponds to and allows for frictional engagement between the outer surface of the muzzle device and the inner blast sleeve sidewall of the blast sleeve borehole, and one or more venting ports formed through the blast sleeve to be aligned with at least two of the venting apertures; and an anti-rotation screw, positionable through the screw aperture and at least a portion of the screw recess.
ADJUSTABLE TUNING DEVICE
An adjustable tuning device has a cup having a base defining an aperture configured to closely receive a limited rear portion of the muzzle portion such that a forward portion of the muzzle portion extends forward of the base, the cup having a rear surface configured to abut the forward-facing shoulder of a barrel, the cup being externally threaded, and a weight having internal threads configured to mate with the externally threaded cup and operable to move in a range of axial positions with respect to the cup. The cup may have a skirt extending rearwardly of the base. The weight may taper to a reduced diameter at a rear end. The cup may have an external diameter at an externally threaded portion, and the weight may have a rear portion having an internal diameter less than the external diameter of the cup.
FIREARM MUZZLE ACCESSORY COUPLING DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A firearm muzzle accessory coupling device, system and method. The coupling device provides a front alignment taper and an intermediate outer diameter providing a plurality of successively alternating clearance recesses and pattern threaded lugs, wherein each lug provides a unique outward thread. The muzzle accessory provides a mounting interface socket having a plurality of successively alternating socket clearances and pattern threaded socket lugs along an inner circumference of a through bore. Each socket lug providing an inward thread dimensioned and adapted to receive the unique outward threaded muzzle accessory, thereby effectuating a plurality of compatible mating axial orientations between the coupling device and the firearm muzzle accessory.
WIPED MUZZLE DEVICE
A wiped muzzle device, such as a compensator, brake or flash suppressor. The wipe improves the function of the muzzle device by forcing muzzle blast gases through the ports or vents to either counter the force vector created by the muzzle blast gases or alter the mixing of gases to reduce muzzle flash.
DEFORMABLE SPACER FOR FIREARMS
A spacer for coupling a muzzle device to a muzzle of a barrel of a firearm includes an annular body. The annular body includes an inner portion having an inner wall. The inner wall defines a central opening and a central axis. A barrel engaging portion extending radially away from inner the portion and the central axis. The annular body also includes a muzzle device engaging portion extending radially away from the inner portion and the central axis. A channel is defined between the barrel engaging portion and the muzzle device engaging portion.
FIREARM SUPPRESSOR WITH GAS-ACTUATED VALVE
Methods and systems are provided for firearm sound suppressors. In one example, a suppressor comprises an outer housing, a projectile entrance, a projectile exit, a gas-actuated valve extending from the projectile entrance toward the projectile exit within an interior of the outer housing, and a projectile opening of the gas-actuated valve arranged along a projectile path between the projectile entrance and the projectile exit.
Dual connector firearm suppressor
A firearm sound suppressor and associated methods. The suppressor can include first and second firearm connectors at opposite ends of the suppressor for connecting to firearm mounts of different types. The suppressor can include symmetrical baffling and/or symmetrical gas flow passaging such that sound reduction performance of the suppressor is generally the same notwithstanding whether the first or second firearm connectors is used to connect the suppressor to the firearm. A protector can be used to protect the firearm connector that is not connected to the firearm.
Gas tube supports for post barrel plenum operated gas cycling system for automatic firearms
A gas tube support system for a gas-actuated firearm contains an annular or bored housing for receipt of a gas tube therein, thereby securing the gas tube during operation of the firearm. At least one or more bores are drilled or formed within the annular or bored housing to provide an impingement of the gas tube as it extends through the annular or bored housing. One or more fasteners are threadedly or otherwise received within a corresponding one of one or more respective bores, thereby securing the gas tube within the annular or bored housing. A gas-actuated firearm containing the gas tube support system is also provided.
Silencer
The present invention relates to a silencer for a firearm, where the silencer comprises an attachment part and a muzzle part, where at least one intermediate module element is arranged between said attachment part and muzzle part, where each of said attachment part, at least one intermediate module element and muzzle part comprises an outer sleeve portion which outer sleeve portion form a part of an outer surface of the silencer, said at least one intermediate module element further comprises an inner sleeve portion and a core portion, which inner sleeve portion form a part of an inner surface of the silencer, said core portion comprising a throughgoing bore, said outer sleeve portion and inner sleeve portion being connected through a radial part, said radial part being provided with a plurality of throughgoing openings around its periphery, wherein, when the silencer is assembled, said outer sleeve portions and inner sleeve portions form a volume defining a first passage for exhaust gases, and said inner sleeve portions and core portions form a volume defining a second passage for exhaust gases.
Firearm muzzle attachment mechanism
A firearm muzzle attachment mechanism includes a muzzle device; a tapering adapter having an outer tapering end configured to connect with the muzzle device; a hollow adapter having an internally threaded portion and configured to receive the muzzle device; a muzzle attachment having an inner tapering end configured to connect with the outer tapering end of the tapering adapter; and a means for providing tension being received in a receiving slot formed on the muzzle attachment.
