Apparatus and method for firearm operations
A compensator device for manipulating and reducing the effects of firearm muzzle lift and a lower receiver for manipulating environmental effects on firearms and firearm operators.
Handgun compensator
A firearm component including a barrel having a bore extending to a generally circular aperture at a forward end of the barrel. The barrel has a series of compensator slots spaced at equal intervals along the bore. Each slot has an oblong cross section extending through the barrel from an interior surface to an exterior surface having a major axis and a minor axis. The cross section also has a length measured along the major axis and a width measured along the minor axis that is shorter than the length. The interval between each adjacent pair of slots in said series of compensator slots has a width greater than the width of each slot in the adjacent pair. At least a portion of the cross section extends below the central bore axis.

Firearm having an integral compensator
A Glock compensator integral with a barrel, and a slide assembly allow escaping gases to dampen recoil associated with firing a Glock firearm. The Glock barrel is removed from the front of the firearm allowing for the integrated compensator at the front of the firearm. Various features, including a lock design, debris port, swept back side ports, height offset, nose ring design and mass-reducing rear cutout, result in an efficient and effective integrated compensator suitable for 4.sup.th and 5.sup.th generation Glock firearms. The compensator and barrel may be fabricated from the same piece of billet. A pair of side rails may be positioned and configured to slidably receive a slide assembly.
Wiped muzzle device
A wiped muzzle device, such as a compensator, brake or flash suppressor. The wipe improves the function of the muzzle device by forcing muzzle blast gases through the ports or vents to either counter the force vector created by the muzzle blast gases or alter the mixing of gases to reduce muzzle flash.

Suppressors and their methods of manufacture
A suppressor having a body and a first connector half coupled to the body, wherein the first connector half includes a first component that includes at least one channel and a first surface; and wherein the body provides a second surface, wherein a gap between the first surface and the second surface defines at least one track; wherein the gun includes a second connector half comprising at least one protrusion, wherein the protrusion and channel have corresponding shapes that allow the protrusion to be inserted through the channel and into alignment with the track, wherein the first component may be rotated with respect to the protrusion and the body to bring the protrusion out of alignment with the channel so that the first and second surfaces clamp the protrusion to thereby secure the first connector half and second connector half with respect to each other.

OPTIC GUARD FOR FIREARM
Some embodiments include an optic guard for a firearm, the optic guard including: a frame; and a bracket having a side to attach to a firearm assembly, the bracket integrally formed with the frame or fixably attached to the frame; wherein the frame is arranged to cover part of a front of an optic housing when the side of the bracket is attached to the firearm assembly. Other embodiments may be disclosed and/or claimed.
