20220099401 · 2022-03-31 ·

The disclosed Integrated Barrel and Muzzle Device System (IBMDS) is a firearm suppressor having an interchangeable projectile tube attached to a muzzle endcap and to a gas block endcap proximal a threaded muzzle of the firearm. The disclosure also includes a suppressor tube body configured to receive the muzzle endcap and the gas block front endcap located against a distal face of the threaded muzzle. The disclosure additionally includes a suppressor element received into the suppressor tube body proximal the muzzle endcap, wherein the suppressor element channels propellant gases from openings defined in the interchangeable projectile tube through an array of open cells.

FIREARM BARREL NUT AND HANDGUARD MOUNTING PLATE ASSEMBLY
20220018629 · 2022-01-20 ·

A firearm barrel nut and handguard mounting assembly configured to addresses alignment issues and over torquing of the barrel nut relative to an upper receiver, as well as enabling ease in removal and replacement of a handguard. The firearm barrel nut and handguard mounting assembly including a barrel nut defining a channel positioned between a proximal end and a distal end, and one or more handguard mounting plates, each handguard mounting plate including a handguard retention portion and a barrel nut connection portion, the barrel nut connection portion configured to mate with the channel of the barrel nut to create an interference fit between the barrel nut and the one or more handguard mounting plates, thereby inhibiting movement of the one or more handguard mounting plates relative to the barrel nut.

A barrel assembly for a paintball gun includes a first barrel portion, a second barrel portion, and an insert. The insert is inserted into and positioned within bores of the first barrel portion and the second barrel portion. The first barrel portion and the second barrel portion include corresponding connection mechanisms that allow the first barrel portion and the second barrel portion to removably couple with one another. The insert includes a ridge that is fixed positioned between the first barrel portion and the second barrel portion when the first barrel portion and the second barrel portion are coupled. The first barrel portion and the second barrel portions can receive inserts with different bore sizes (e.g., inner diameter).

A multi-piece action for a single-shot firearm. The action comprises an action body, an action liner, and a breech plug. The action body is configured to accept a firearm bolt. The action body is further configured to accept an action liner and hold that action liner in place. The action liner is configured to accept a barrel, preferably through a series of threads. The action liner is open at both ends and is configured to accept a breech plug.

INTEGRATED UPPER RECEIVER AND INTEGRATED LOWER RECEIVER FOR THE AR10 AND AR15 PLATFORMS
20210310757 · 2021-10-07 ·

A lower receiver of a rifle is connected to a buffer tube of the rifle. A buttstock is formed of a frame extending around the buffer tube with a lower portion of the frame connecting to the lower receiver. An opening to the buffer tube includes a curved transition region to the top of the lower receiver. The lower receiver, frame, and buffer tube are formed monolithically of a single piece of material. A grip frame may be formed monolithically with the lower receiver. A buttstock frame may be formed monolithically with a buffer tube that defines a threaded portion for securement to an upper receiver of a rifle.

Rifles and muzzle loading rifles receiving propellant charges in break open and bolt action configurations, and barrel extensions therefor

A break open rifle and bolt action rifle having a barrel extension with a breech end for receiving a propellant charge, a muzzle end with an extended attachment structure for receiving a complementary attachment structure of a barrel, and a chamber disposed within and through the barrel extension having a first diameter at a first end and a narrowing portion adjacent a second end opposite the first end, the narrowing portion having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter, wherein the first diameter of the chamber is sized to receive the propellant charge therein, and the second diameter of the narrowing portion is sized to prevent the propellant charge from being further inserted past the narrowing portion, and to prevent a projectile from being inserted through the chamber from the barrel muzzle end. A bolt action configuration having dual diameter non-rotating bolt with an extractor and ejector mechanism for removing a propellant charge.

FIREARM BARREL PRE-LOADING DEVICES, CONNECTION ASSEMBLIES, AND FIREARMS

A firearm barrel preloading device can preload threaded connections. The preloading device can include an outwardly facing barrel-contact surface, an outwardly facing receiver-contact surface, non-planar surfaces between the barrel-contact surface and the receiver-contact surface. The non-planar surfaces can include mated pairs of axisymmetric surfaces that cooperate to spread apart the barrel-contact surface and the receiver-contact surface when the preloading device is moved toward an expanded configuration.

Modular barrel system and method for its manufacture

A modular barrel system for firearm includes a first barrel segment and a second barrel segment. Each barrel segment comprises a tubular member having an axial bore, a proximal end, and a distal end. The proximal end of the first barrel segment has a first threaded element for removably attaching the first barrel segment to a firearm. The distal end of the first barrel segment has a second threaded element and the proximal end of the second barrel segment has a third threaded element which is complementary with the second threaded element, the third threaded element for removably attaching the second barrel segment to the first barrel segment. In a further aspect, method for the manufacture of a modular barrel system are provided.
