Firearm recoil control system
A recoil control system includes a base portion having a main body with a flat bottom surface; a slide portion having a main body with a flat upper surface; at least one structure providing a sliding interface between the base portion and the slide portion such that the slide portion is slidingly engaged with, and can move forward and backward with respect to, the base portion; and a damper in communication with the slide portion. The recoil control system provides sliding interface between at least a portion of a firearm and at least a portion of a support used with the firearm and reduces the possibility of the support hopping or bouncing during recoil.
QUICK ATTACH AND DETACH MOUNT FOR FIREARMS AND OTHER OBJECTS
An apparatus for coupling an object to a support has an object member that includes an upper surface configured for attachment to a portion of the object, a lower extent including a generally conical object portion depending from the object member; and a notch formed in a portion of the lower extent. A support member includes a lower surface configured for attachment to the support, an upper surface, and a receptacle formed in the upper surface to receive the lower extent of the object member. The receptacle includes a generally conical support portion to receive and mate with the generally conical object portion. A latch member is selectively operable to engage the notch of the object portion to selectively secure together the object and support members.
BIPOD WITH SLING STUD MOUNT
An interface for coupling a bipod to a sling stud of a firearm forend. The interface can include two pawls that pivot to release or grasp the sling stud. The pawls can be biased upward via a detent that rides within a vertical aperture in a pivot holder. The pivot holder can move up and down within a vertical aperture in a mounting plate of the interface, and via this movement the pawls may be forced open or closed. A bottom surface of one or both pawls can include an irregular surface different portions of which interface with a top of the detent depending on a vertical position of the pivot holder within the aperture in the mounting plate.
Ballistic shield for a firearm
A ballistic shield apparatus for a weapon includes: a flexible ballistic shield made of penetration-resistant material, the ballistic shield having opposed front and rear faces, spaced-apart side edges connecting spaced-apart top and bottom edges, and a central area bounded by the side edges; one or more flexible securing members extending laterally outward from each of the side edges, each of the one or more flexible securing members including a releasable connector disposed on a distal portion thereof; and at least one releasable connector disposed on the ballistic shield, the releasable connectors collectively configured such that the distal portion of each of the one or more flexible securing members can be releasably secured to the central area of the ballistic shield, or to a distal portion of one of the one or more flexible securing members.

COMBINATION CROSSBOW STIRRUP AND SHOOTING REST MECHANISM
A bracket may be adjustable with respect to a bracket engagement device and serve as both a stirrup and a shooting rest for a crossbow. One or more biasing force generators may be used to bias the bracket into one of at least two relative positions with respect to the bracket engagement device.
Adjustable stabilizer assembly for rifle
A rifle stabilizer assembly attaching to a front stock of a rifle provides an assortment of stabilizing elements to enhance the shooting potential of a rifle, the assembly providing a stabilizer bar attached to the underside of a front rifle stock, a barrier block attachment, a bipod adapter attachment and a tripod adapter attachment, each attachment selectively chosen by a shooter as appropriate for a selected shot while in competition, hunting or combat.
Firearm accessory mounting interface
An accessory mounting interface for a firearm, and a related method, are disclosed. The interface has a firearm accessory, a first elongated fastener, and a second fastener rotationally mated to the first elongated fastener. The first elongated fastener has right-handed threading and is arranged through a through hole in the firearm accessory with a first end extending below first and second halves of a first slot protrusion of the firearm accessory. The second fastener has a length greater than a width, the length measured along a longitudinal axis of the second fastener, the second fastener having a plurality of straight edges. At least one of the plurality of straight edges prevents the second fastener from rotating further than a closed position when the at least one of the straight edges abuts a sidewall of an elongated slot in the firearm.

FIREARM ACCESSORY MOUNTING SYSTEM
A firearm accessory mounting system includes a mounting assembly coupled to a firearm accessory, a mounting fastener, and a mounting bolt. The mounting fastener is rotatable between a locked positioned and an unlocked position. The mounting bolt is coupled to the mounting fastener for rotating the mounting fastener between the locked position and the unlocked position.
