A shooting rest, components thereof, and associated methods. The shooting rest includes a frame, a forward firearm support connected to the frame, and a rear firearm support connected to the frame. The rear firearm support includes a stop configured to limit rearward movement of the firearm with respect to the frame when the firearm is fired. A liquid tank is supported by the frame and is configured to hold liquid to increase the effective mass of the shooting rest to reduce recoil felt by a shooter when the firearm is fired.

The magazine release notch is configured to engage a magazine release mechanism within the magazine well.

Leveling Rail Device
The present disclosure relates to a leveling rail apparatus configured for directly mounting a rifle onto a tripod, a pan-tilt head mount, or other support structure, as disclosed herein. The apparatus may comprise, by way of example, a rail mount for securing the firearm; a leveling structure coupled to the rail mount and having at least one arcuate surface, the leveling structure operable to swivel about the arcuate surface; and a securing means coupled to the leveling structure, the securing means for securing the leveling structure to the rail mount.

The present disclosure relates to a leveling rail apparatus configured for directly mounting a rifle onto a tripod, a pan-tilt head mount, or other support structure, as disclosed herein. The apparatus may comprise, by way of example, a rail mount for securing the firearm; a leveling structure coupled to the rail mount and having at least one arcuate surface, the leveling structure operable to swivel about the arcuate surface; and a securing means coupled to the leveling structure, the securing means for securing the leveling structure to the rail mount.
