A shooting rest for different weapons provides ends that are offset from the central portion of the rest to provide a space that accommodates a portion of the weapon being used with the rest. The shooting rest can be used with one or two supports that engage the weapon being used with the rest. Each support can be rotationally adjusted about a vertical axis and tilted about a horizontal axis. Each support can be tilted inwardly to a storage position for storage and transport of the rest. When in use, the entire rest can be tilted about its main support. A support assembly includes an adjustable arm that carries the shooting rest from the top of a monopod that is anchored to allow repositionable use without interference with the hunter's legs.

An adjustable shooting rest for supporting a stock portion of a firearm is disclosed. The shooting rest comprises a support section, a housing, at least one spring plunger, a threaded member, an elevation adjustment, and a base. The housing supports the support section and is defining a central recess and at least one opening in perpendicularly communication with the central recess and extending radially outward therefrom at its lower portion. The threaded member having one end securely disposed within the central recess. The elevation adjustment nut threadedly and operably engaged to another end of the threaded member. The spring plunger is threadedly disposed within the opening of the housing, configured to enable contact between the threaded member and the elevation adjustment nut by applying adequate pressure. The user could adjust the shooting rest at the required heights by rotating the elevation adjustment nut.

Firearm shooting rest

A shooting rest and associated methods. The shooting rest includes a forward support and a rear support both supported by a frame. The forward support is configured to clamp a forward portion of the firearm and permit rotation of the firearm with respect to the frame about a pitch axis to adjust a vertical aim of the firearm and about a yaw axis to adjust a horizontal aim of the firearm. The rear support includes a platform positioned to support a bottom of a trigger hand grip portion of the firearm. The platform is adjustable in elevation to adjust the vertical aim of the firearm.
