Projectile launcher
10697720 · 2020-06-30 ·

A projectile launcher, comprising: an internal tank configured to receive a combustible gas through an inlet, a barrel, a projectile storage portion, a piston, a trigger assembly configured to operate a spool, and a flexible structure configured to wrap around the spool. The flexible structure may be connected to the piston, wherein pulling the trigger assembly causes the spool to rotate to cause the flexible structure to pull the piston forward. The piston may be configured to expand a combustion chamber behind the piston when pulled forward, wherein pulling the trigger assembly causes the combustible gas to enter the combustion chamber created by the piston moving forward. The combustion chamber is configured to collapse after the shot is executed due to a spring bias applied to the piston to a backward position and due to the flexible shaft being released from pulling the piston forward.

LINEAR CHAMBER MAGAZINE
20200200503 · 2020-06-25 ·

A linear magazine for an air gun advances upon actuation of a cocking mechanism. The magazine carries multiple projectiles for the air gun and translates perpendicularly to the bore (i.e., barrel) of the air gun to advance to the next projectile. The magazine places a series of projectiles in line with the bore of the gun while serving as a chamber for the projectile and gun and sealing to the air orifice and barrel bore of the air gun. In one embodiment, each hole or chamber of the linear magazine is arranged in a single row.

EMPTY-MAGAZINE POWER-OFF STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC TOY GUN
20200173753 · 2020-06-04 ·

An empty-magazine power-off structure of electric toy gun includes a bore component and a power source switch; the bore component has a ball firing pipe and a ball feeding pipe connected to the ball firing pipe, a ball chamber is formed in the ball firing pipe, and the ball feeding pipe has a ball guiding channel communicated with the ball chamber from an external side; the power source switch is relatively disposed at an outer side of the ball feeding pipe, and at least has one trigger part protruded into the ball guiding channel. As such, when a bullet ball in the magazine passes the ball guiding channel, the bullet ball is able to press the power source switch to determine whether any bullet ball remains in the magazine.

Pulling the piston forward loads a projectile into the barrel from the projectile storage portion in response to pulling the trigger. Gas in the combustion chamber is ignited while the piston is pulled forward, and igniting the gas causes a pulse to travel through the piston for executing a shot by launching the projectile through the barrel. The combustion chamber is configured to collapse after the shot is executed due to a spring bias applied to the piston to a backward position and due to the flexible shaft being released from pulling the piston forward. Collapsing the combustion chamber causes hot gas generated from the shot to be released. The gas may be green gas.

Air actuated magazine for projectile loader

A magazine for a high capacity loader for sequentially loading a plurality of projectiles into a launcher. The magazine has a magazine housing for holding a plurality of projectiles. The magazine housing has an opening providing access to a projectile chimney. The projectiles exit the magazine through the opening in the magazine housing via the projectile chimney. An aperture is provided in a sidewall of the projectile chimney and the aperture leads to a piston chamber. A pneumatically actuated actuator is provided in the piston chamber. The pneumatically actuated actuator drives an indexing assembly for the launcher.

Pellet gun conversion adapter
10619968 · 2020-04-14 · ·

An apparatus that modularly adapts gas blowback pellet guns to fire pellets from automatic electric gun pellet gun magazines. Embodiments comprise ones that route high-pressure air into a gas frame disposed in a GBB gun magazine well, without tapping either of the gun and the magazine. The apparatus contemplates alternative gas frames, each being at least one having a shape selected from a plurality of shapes adapted to engage the magazine wells of desired GBB guns. The apparatus comprises at least one magazine adapter that is modularly and alternately engageable and disengageable with the gas frame. The apparatus also contemplates alternative adapters, ones that are alternately engageable and disengageable with any of multiple alternative gas frames. The apparatus contemplates embodiments that are alternately disengageable from GBB guns without compromising the gun to receive GBB magazines directly, and ones which allow the HPA source connection to instead receive propulsion sources, comprising pre-compressed gases from a list comprising air reservoirs, compressed CO2 and green gas and other high-pressure gas reservoirs.
