COMPRESSED GAS PERSONAL PROTECTION DEVICE

A hand carryable, non-lethal personal protection device using compressed gas for operation. In some embodiments the device uses the compressed gas to create and shoot a vortex of air at the target. In other embodiments, the compressed gas can be used to shoot a burst of atomized water at the attacker. In still other embodiments the device uses the compressed gas to shoot ammunition, such as a ring airfoil, O-ring, bean bag, or other non-lethal blunt trauma munitions at the target. In still further embodiments, the device is modular in its construction, and can be used to apply the compressed gas to various different attachments.

NON-LETHAL GAS OPERATED GUN

A pre-pack assembly for use with an air gun that fires non-lethal projectiles and for use with a magazine that is removably insertable into the air gun, the pre-pack assembly includes a pre-pack that contains non-lethal projectiles, where inserting the pre-pack into a chamber of the magazine positions the non-lethal projectiles in a feeder that individually feeds non-lethal projectiles into the air gun when the magazine is inserted into the air gun.

A dual-purpose type gas-valve structure especially related to a gas-gun gas-valve used for controlling the igniting and releasing of gas. It is specially designed with the horizontal and vertical gas entrance types coexisting structure to facilitate selecting different types to insert and connect the high-pressure steel cylinder depending on the gun type. It mainly consists of a box-body set with several connected horizontal and vertical channels inside; wherein a group of vertically intersecting channels located below can respectively insert into the high-pressure steel cylinder from the horizontal entrance and the vertical entrance from outside; wherein the lower-layer horizontal channel located at the upper f-type channel belongs to the high-pressure gas control room and the touch-press port, and the gas can be thereby released to the vertical channel and strongly ejected out through the upper-layer horizontal channel to instantaneously propel and launch out the bullet of the connecting barrel.

Projectile Launching Apparatus

A projectile launching apparatus for launching a projectile, such as a pellet, a BB bullet, an arrow, a dart and a paintball includes a linear motion converter driven by a motor, a piston coupled to the linear motion converter and reciprocally movable within a cylinder, a gas spring and a breech assembly. The piston compresses a gas within the cylinder, after which the compressed gas expands in the barrel of the breech assembly for launching the projectile. Breech assembly includes a breech, a bolt, and bolt barrel cam, which rotate with the gas spring to allow a projectile to enter the breech and then to seal the bolt in the breech before the gas spring releases its stored energy to launch the projectile. In another embodiment, the bolt is coupled with a magnet instead of a cam.
