A self-defense apparatus includes a sleeve portion, an adapter portion connected to the sleeve portion, and a weapon. The sleeve portion includes one of a fastener or a fastener-receiving passage. The sleeve portion includes a proximal sleeve portion, a distal sleeve portion, a proximal end surface, an outer side surface, and a distal end surface. The sleeve portion defines an implement-receiving cavity that extends axially into the proximal end surface. The proximal end surface and a proximal portion of the outer side surface define a handle portion of the sleeve portion. The distal end surface and a distal portion of the outer side surface define a distal sleeve portion having an adapter-interfacing body of the sleeve portion. The adapter portion includes the other of the fastener and the fastener-receiving passage. The adapter portion defines an adapter body. The weapon is defined by the adapter body and the adapter-interfacing body.

A self-defense apparatus includes a sleeve portion, an adapter portion connected to the sleeve portion, and a weapon. The sleeve portion includes one of a fastener or a fastener-receiving passage. The sleeve portion includes a proximal sleeve portion, a distal sleeve portion, a proximal end surface, an outer side surface, and a distal end surface. The distal end surface and a distal portion of the outer side surface define a distal sleeve portion having an adapter-interfacing body of the sleeve portion. The adapter portion includes the other of the fastener and the fastener-receiving passage. The adapter portion defines an adapter body. The weapon is defined by the adapter body and the adapter-interfacing body.

A modular tool including a first member and a second member each including a head portion, a shaft portion and a handle portion. The first member includes a first member slot and the second member includes a second member slot. A connector includes fasteners and a pair of locking tabs. Each of the locking tabs includes a pair of locking tab openings. The first member and the second member interlock via the first member slot and the second member slot. The pair of locking tabs are disposed within a pair of locking tab slots and the fasteners run through the pairs of locking tab openings and a pair of member openings, thereby locking the first member to the second member.

The invention provides a ring for use in self-defense including a base with a band that is worn on a finger of a user, a blade fixed to the outer circumference of the band, wherein the blade protrudes from the outer circumference of the band, a base connecting mechanism joined to a portion of the blade that is fixed to the outer circumference of the band, and a ring top comprising a top connecting mechanism, and an ornamental top, wherein the top connecting mechanism is joined to a portion of the ornamental top.

An improved breaking device, which has a base, a breaking bolt, an elastic element and a conical head, wherein, the base connects to the body at one end, the conical head is linked with the base and the elastic element and breaking bolt are installed in the conical head. Therefore, the breaking device with the above-mentioned elements is used in combination with baton and breaker to smash windows, and yet, when the breaking device is not used for this purpose, the breaking bolt is hidden in the conical head to avoid scratching any persons or articles and ensure user safety.

An improved breaking device, which has a base, a breaking bolt, an elastic element and a conical head, wherein, the base connects to the body at one end, the conical head is linked with the base and the elastic element and breaking bolt are installed in the conical head. Therefore, the breaking device with the above-mentioned elements is used in combination with baton and breaker to smash windows, and yet, when the breaking device is not used for this purpose, the breaking bolt is hidden in the conical head to avoid scratching any persons or articles and ensure user safety.

A one-hand operable telescopable knife assembly comprising an elongated outermost jacket enclosing an internal emission or containment chamber and an elongated knife blade assembly. A thumb stud is attached to and extends radially outwardly from the elongated knife blade assembly. The thumb stud extends slidingly through an elongated guide slot to permit a first locking notch to a second locking notch movement and control of the knife assembly contained within the outermost jacket. The first locking slot and the second locking slot are arranged at opposite ends of but are also arranged on the same side of the elongated guide slot. A transversely arranged slot on the blade assembly simultaneously lockingly engages a jacket locking tab at the second end of the outermost jacket upon rotation of the blade assembly by the thumb stud entering into the second locking slot on the side of the outermost jacket.

A tool for defending a person against shark attacks, the tool itself including; a spike; a handle; and a grab wherein the grab is a lanyard with a grip formed in it to facilitate the securement of the grab in the hand of a user when retrieving the tool. In some embodiments, the grip might be a knot or it may be a buoyant element that helps the tool to float. Preferably the tool further includes a sheath for releasable attachment to the spike and/or handle that covers the spike when not in use and apparel that includes means for retaining the tool and sheath. Such apparel includes armbands, wetsuits and swimming tops.

A tool for defending a person against shark attacks, the tool itself including; a spike; a handle; and a grab wherein the grab is a lanyard with a grip formed in it to facilitate the securement of the grab in the hand of a user when retrieving the tool. In some embodiments, the grip might be a knot or it may be a buoyant element that helps the tool to float. Preferably the tool further includes a sheath for releasable attachment to the spike and/or handle that covers the spike when not in use and apparel that includes means for retaining the tool and sheath. Such apparel includes armbands, wetsuits and swimming tops.

The present invention is to provide an expandable baton with a smasher at the front end of an inner rod thereof, wherein an impact groove, a tapered groove, an aligning groove, and a compression force application groove are sequentially formed in the smasher and the front end of the inner rod. A compression spring can push an impact block in the compression force application groove toward the impact groove in order to position a smashing rod in the corresponding grooves and expose a front conical portion of the smashing rod. When the conical portion is forcibly pressed against an object to-be-smashed, the smashing rod is partially pressed against the wall of the tapered groove and is thrusted into a hitting groove in the impact block upon aligning with the axis of the impact block. The impact block is then driven outward by the compression spring and drives the conical portion to smash the object.
