Ramrod for a muzzleloading firearm

A ramrod for a muzzleloading firearm and method of using the same. The ramrod comprises an elongated ramrod outer body having a hollow portion and an exterior size and shape permissible for insertion into the firearm bore. An extension member is movable within the outer body hollow portion, and includes a clasping member which is foldable between a stowed position in which the clasping member is generally aligned with the longitudinal axis of the outer body to a working position in which the clasping member makes a substantial angle with respect to the outer body longitudinal axis. The extension member is movable between a retracted position wherein a first length of the extension member is within the outer body hollow portion to an extended position wherein the first length of the extension member is outside the outer body hollow portion.

Bullet loading tips for muzzleloading firearms

Bullet loading tips for muzzleloading firearms. The bullet loading tips include a stem, a platform, and a cushion. The platform is coupled to the stem. The cushion is coupled to the platform. The stem, the platform, and the cushion are complementarily configured with a barrel of the muzzleloading firearm to insert into the barrel with the cushion abutting a bullet disposed in the barrel. The bullet loading tip is configured to press the bullet down the barrel to a seated position at the end of the barrel when the bullet loading tip is urged down the barrel. The bullet loading tip is configured to apply pressure to the bullet in the seated position without deforming the bullet.

An interchangeable firearm accessory coupling system and method of using. The system comprises an elongated connecting member having a first portion with a recess cut therein, a sleeve in translational engagement with the connecting member, and a firearm bore accessory component removably receivable within the connecting member recess. The sleeve is translatable between an engaged position wherein the sleeve encloses the recess and a disengaged position wherein the sleeve moves to a second portion of the elongated connecting member to expose the recess, such that the firearm bore accessory component may be received or removed from the recess.

Muzzleloader systems

A bullet assembly comprising a bullet and a cup assembly, the cup assembly may have a ring portion for scraping the barrel of a muzzleloader. The cup assembly may be slidable on the bullet with an extended position and a contracted position, the contracted position having a greater diameter than the extended position. A contraction inhibiting member that requires shearing off of the member for contraction may be disposed on one of the components.

A quick loader includes a propellant tube, a main loader body, a funnel valve, and a funnel tube. The funnel valve features a channel that connects the main loader body to the funnel tube, allowing propellant to flow therethrough when open. The funnel valve is coupled to the main loader body by a hinge on a metal pin that enables free rotation around a fixed axis. The funnel valve further features a gasket that covers an outlet of the main loader body when not in use and prevents water from entering the propellant tube. In some embodiments, the quick loader further includes a bullet compartment and a primer holder, configured respectively to hold a bullet and a primer that are accessible with one hand for quick and silent use in the field.
