A loss recognition system including a transceiver which is prepared to send an interrogation signal to a transponder and to receive from the transponder a response signal. A data processing apparatus detects the presence of the response signal and the signal strength thereof and, in the absence of the response signal or in the case of undershooting of the signal strength of the response signal below a predetermined threshold value, automatically outputting an activation pulse for activating an alarm transmitter associated with the response signal. The transponder is associated with a predetermined object of value and is attached thereto in a use state. An alarm transmitter is provided on the transceiver and/or on the object of value associated with the respective transponder. At least one alarm transmitter is activated by a self-latching circuit which is activated as soon as an activation pulse associated with the alarm transmitter is output.

Provided herein is a modular holster system comprising a combination of a holster, magazine carrier, connector and a belt clip. The holster and the magazine carrier each comprise an O-ring based retention system which holds the firearm and magazine in place without compromise quick draw. The modular holster system can be assembled in a vertical, angled, or staked orientation. Furthermore, the modular holster system can be configured to be carried inside the waistband of the user, outside the waistband of the user, or appendix to the user.

A pocket holster assembly is used to support and to carry an implement in a user's pocket. The pocket holster assembly includes a hook catch arranged to catch on the user's pocket to prevent the pocket holster assembly from being removed from the pocket with the implement. A concealer hook camouflages the shape of the pocket holster and the implement while in the pocket.

A garment includes a waist band and a pair of leg sleeves. The garment is made of an elastic material, such as woven elastane fibers so that the garment is skintight. The waist band of the present invention includes an inner pocket and an outer pocket that overlap one another. The outer pocket may be defined by a first panel and the inner pocket may be defined by a second panel. The first panel and the second panel may also be made of the elastic material. The inner pocket may store a firearm and the outer pocket may store a card to cover the trigger guard and prevent accidental discharge of the firearm.

A closure system for a boot or other footwear includes a tension member that is disposed within the boot and routed or guided about a path within the boot via one or more guides. The closure system also includes an adjustment member that is disposed within the boot and operably coupled with the tension member. The closure system further includes a reel based closure device having a knob that is operable to tension the tension member and to release tension from the tension member. Tensioning of the tension member adjusts a fit of the adjustment member about a foot within the boot to secure the foot within the boot and loosening of the tension member adjusts the fit of the adjustment member about the foot to allow the foot to be more easily removed from the boot.

A firearm holster includes a first half shell and a second half shell. The first half shell is nested in the second half shell to form a cavity therebetween for enclosing one or both of a barrel and a trigger area of a firearm. The cavity further includes an opening for receiving the firearm and otherwise having no other gaps or openings.

Chest worn utility pouch designed to provide easy, quick and safe access to a weapon, specifically a handgun. The rear pocket for a communications device affords the wearer hands free communications with the police, thus reducing the chances of criminal prosecution or civil penalty, post incident. The pouch conceals the firearm from view, thus allowing for possible de-escalation. Further, the present invention is designed to fit inside most gun safes or hides so that firearms are immediately deployable in a safe, but expeditious manner.

A method for securely maintaining a handgun in a holster is provided. The method comprises a secure handgun holster receiving, at a circuit board within the holster, contact from a lever within the holster, the contact resulting from pushing action of the lever; The method also comprises the holster waking up the circuit board based on the received contact. The method also comprises the holster verifying, via an authorized user detection process executed at least by the circuit board, that a provider of the push action is an authorized user of a handgun presently held by the holster. The method also comprises the holster activating, based on the verification, an unlocking process. The method also comprises the holster releasing the handgun based on completion of the unlocking process.

A false draw and/or shots fired alert system for use with a weapon holster. The system generates one or more signals when a weapon is drawn from the holster and/or when shots are fired. The signal(s) may include an audible signal and/or a wireless signal. The audible signal identifies the type of weapon drawn (e.g., a handgun, TASER, stun gun) and may include other sounds such as oral commands. The wireless signal may be a text, email, alert, or other notification to one or more remote devices indicating the specific type of weapon has been drawn and/or fired, and may include other information such as GPS location and owner of the holster.

Disclosed herein is underwear facilitating comfortable carrying of a concealed firearm. The underwear includes a number of pouches strategically located adjacent carrying locations of the firearm, where the pouches may selectively contain a removeable pad. The underwear includes a pouch at each side of the users hips and a pouch at the groin area. Each pouch includes a top opening having a closure mechanism. The user may place a pad within the pouch adjacent the carrying location of the firearm. The underwear includes an outer fabric layer configured to prevent wear-out due to contact with the firearm or holster and inner fabric layer configured for skin contact. Removable pads may be provided in different shapes, thicknesses, levels of firmness, etc. Shapes may correspond to body anatomy or firearm/holster shape. The pads may be removed from the pouches so that the underwear may be worn while not carrying the firearm.
