Modular firearm holster safety retention assembly and method of operation
A modular firearm holster safety retention assembly is operable with a holster to prevent unauthorized extraction or accidental drop of a firearm from holster. The assembly comprises a saddle that receives the barrel of a firearm, and a pivot release arm that couples to the saddle to selectively restrict movement or release the firearm in the holster. The pivot release arm detachably couples to the saddle. The pivot release arm has a first end with a protruding locking nub that engages the ejection port of firearm to restrict movement thereof; and a second end that is urged away from the saddle to disengage the locking nub from the firearm ejection port to disengage firearm from saddle. The saddle and the pivot release arm have interlocking wedges that restrict forceful removal of the firearm from holster. The saddle has a pivot stop to prevent overleveraging of pivot release arm.
Holster system, holder, holster and quick-release gun anchor system
Holster, support and anchorage quick release system for guns that comprises left and right assembly parts configured to guide the gun when holstered, a trigger guard ratchet, a release button and a locking mechanism, wherein the left and right assembly parts configure a holster that is laterally opened where, once the gun is holstered, the muzzle and the full length of the barrel remain leaning outwards, the holstering of the gun activates the ratchet when yielding under the insertion of the trigger guard, locking the gun in the holster and the release of the gun is produced by the actuation on the locking mechanism and the release button, so that the drawing of the gun is performed perpendicularly to the barrel, allowing to aim from the very first instant of the release of the gun, avoiding unneeded movements and providing a shooter with more time.
Holster with Pushrod Ejection Port Locking Element
A holster defining a holster cavity; a locking element extending from a rotation portion to a locking engagement portion, the rotation portion including a helical portion formed in or around at least a portion of the rotation portion, the locking engagement portion including a handgun locking portion, the locking element being rotatable between a locking element retention position and a locking element release position, in the locking element retention position at least a portion of handgun locking portion extends into at least a portion of the holster cavity; and a pushrod extending from a release lever, the pushrod being slidable between a release lever retention position and a release lever release position such that if the pushrod is urged to the release lever release position, interaction between the pushrod and the helical portion causes the locking element to rotate toward the locking element release position.
THUMB PRESS BUTTON TYPE HOLSTER
The present disclosure discloses a thumb press button type holster. The technical solution is: the thumb press button type holster includes a holster body, a waist support plate, and a locking mechanism. The waist support plate is detachably connected to one side of the holster body; and the locking mechanism is mounted inside the holster body. The locking mechanism includes a locking protective plate, a locking press button and a pressing assembly; the locking press button is connected with the pressing assembly; and the locking press button and the pressing assembly are rotatably connected with the locking protective plate. The locking press button of the present disclosure is hidden in the locking protective plate to protect the locking press button from being damaged and play a role of dust prevention and sand prevention. The thumb press button type holster is suitable for firearms with different width dimensions.
FIREARM RETAINER FOR HOLSTERS
A firearm retention mechanism is provided for a holster. The device comprises first and second arms that each have a first end and a second end, outwardly extending retention elements and trigger guard stops, and a fastener which connects the first and second arms so that they define an open top, with the retention elements and trigger guard stops facing one another, the trigger guard stops located below the retention elements. The arms are connected to sides of the holster with the open top facing upwardly to receive a trigger guard of the firearm, which is then pressed between the retention elements.
Holster having pushrod disengagement locking element
A holster having a holster body; a locking element having a helical ramp surface, wherein the locking element is at least rotatable between a locking element engaged position, wherein at least a portion of a locking projection portion of the locking element protrudes into an at least partial cavity portion of the holster and a locking element disengaged position, wherein at least a portion of the locking projection portion of the locking element is withdrawn from the at least partial cavity portion; and a release lever attached or coupled to a pushrod, and wherein as the release lever is urged toward the locking element, interaction between a first end of the pushrod and the helical ramp surface causes the locking element to rotate toward the release lever disengaged position.
THUMB-ACTUATED LOCKING HOLSTER
A holster for receiving and withdrawing a handgun has a proximal wall portion with a handgun retention mechanism thereon. The mechanism having a first lever with a tab portion for actuation and release of a trigger guard, the lever having a snap fit into a lever region without a separate pin. A belt engaging member covers the lever region capturing the first lever therein. If a second retention mechanism is used, another lever with a tab portion is positioned so the tabs are stacked, depressing one also depresses the tab behind it, such that both mechanisms are released. Overmolded polymer layers in the holster body provides a softer interior handgun engagement surfaces. The holster body is split forwardly with a threaded fastener for clamping onto the handgun. No holster body is beneath or rearward of the tab portion, configured as a thumb button, allowing smooth transition to gripping the handgun.
ROTATING LOCK LEVER
A rotating lock lever assembly configured as an additional security feature for a holster and may be useable in combination with a first user actuable handgun retention mechanism and a second user actuable handgun retention mechanism. The rotating lock lever assembly may include a housing, a pivot portion pivotally mounted to the housing and an elongate member extending from the pivot portion. The elongate member may include a lever button portion and a blocking projection extending from the pivot portion. The blocking projection may have an engagement surface configured to engage with a protrusion portion of a thumb button of the second user actuable handgun retention mechanism when in the protrusion portion blocking position. The rotating lock lever assembly is configured for manual movement of the rotating lock lever assembly between a protrusion portion blocking position and a protrusion portion non-blocking position.
