A gas regulator for a rifle, having: an elongated member having a first end and a second end; a head portion located at the first end; a pair of openings passing through the elongated member, wherein one of the pair of openings is larger than the other one of the pair of openings; a recessed area located at the second end; and a pair of detent openings located on a portion of the elongated member, the pair of detent openings being spaced from each other and located within another recessed area located on a surface of the elongated member between the first end and the second end, wherein one of the pair of detent openings is closer to the first end than the other one of the pair of detent openings.

A gas regulator for a rifle, having: an elongated member having a first end and a second end; a head portion located at the first end; a pair of openings passing through the elongated member, wherein one of the pair of openings is larger than the other one of the pair of openings; a recessed area located at the second end; and a pair of detent openings located on a portion of the elongated member, the pair of detent openings being spaced from each other and located within another recessed area located on a surface of the elongated member between the first end and the second end, wherein one of the pair of detent openings is closer to the first end than the other one of the pair of detent openings.

A foldable sight implementable on a firearm includes a base, a hinge and a sight body. The base is configured to be mounted on a portion of the firearm. The sight body is pivotably attached to the base by the hinge and contains a position holding device therein. The position holding device is configured to hold the sight body at either a first position or a second position responsive to the sight body being rotated from one of the first and second positions to another of the first and second positions.

The rear sight comprises a rear sight post including a rear sighting element. Each sight post is pivotable between a deployed position and a reclined position. When the sight post are in the deployed position, the user may aim the firearm with reference to a sight line extending through the front and rear sighting elements. The sight line and the gun bore axis may be generally parallel to one another when the sight arms are in the deployed position.

A gunsight system for aiming a firearm is disclosed. The gunsight system includes a front sight and a rear sight. The firearm has a barrel defining a bore that extends along a gun bore axis. The sight line and the gun bore axis may be generally parallel to one another when the sight arms are in the deployed position.
