Integrated rail and sight system for firearm
A firearm includes an integrated rail and sight system that slidably mounts to the top of the firearm and is also retractable and detachable from the firearm. The rail may slide on and off the top of the firearm and may include integrated front and rear flip down sights. Both sights are pinned to the rail and can fold down to the rail such that they are flush with or seat below the top portion of the rail. This permits accessories to be mounted to the rail without the sights interfering with the mounting of the accessories or without the sights interfering with the operation of the accessories. The firearm further includes an ambidextrous charging handle mounted through the integrated rail and sight system.
REFLECTIVE SIGHT FOR A FIREARM
A reflective gun sight includes a rear sight including a light source; and a front sight including a reflective surface that is directly opposing the light source and recessed within an aperture of a front sight housing, wherein light emitted from the light source travels through the aperture and is reflected by the reflective surface toward the rear sight.
FIREARM ILLUMINATOR
A firearm illuminator has a housing having a front portion, a rear portion, and an intermediate portion between the front and rear positions, a light source at the front portion, a power source at the rear portion, a power conductor interconnecting the light source and the power source and coextensive with the intermediate portion, and a weapon sight connected at the intermediate portion between the light source and the power source. the weapon sight may be a post sight. The weapon sight may be a front sight configured to register with a rear weapon sight. The weapon sight may be movable between a stowed position and an extended position. An indicating portion of the weapon sight extends above the housing when in the extended position. The housing may have an upper surface below a selected limit level. The weapon sight may be configured to extend above the limit level.

PISTOL
A pistol has a frame having a grip, an elongated slide connected to the frame and operable to reciprocate on the frame between a forward battery position and a rear position, the elongated slide having opposed forward and rear ends, a rear sight connected proximate the rear end of the elongated slide, the frame including a front sight support element at a forward frame end forward of the forward end of the elongated slide when the elongated slide is in the forward battery position, and the front sight support element including a front sight operably registered with the rear sight when the elongated slide is in the forward battery position. The elongated slide may define a passage receiving a barrel defining a muzzle aperture, and wherein the front sight support element defines an opening registered with the muzzle aperture.
BACK-UP SIGHTS WITH COMPACT APERTURE, CENTERING SIGHT POST, AND MINIATURIZED WINDAGE DETENT MECHANISM
A sighting system for a firearm and related methods are disclosed. The sighting system has front and rear flip-up sights, wherein the front sight comprises a flip-up portion having an aperture through which a sight post can partially extend; a knob comprising one or more notches on a first side and the sight post extending from a second side; at least one detent arranged to face and interact with the one or more notches. The knob is configured to rotate about a first axis, where the rotation causes the sight post to move in a first direction along the first axis; tilting of the knob in a second direction based on the detent interfacing with the notches; and tilting of the sight post in the second direction, thereby forcing at least a portion of the sight post to press against the aperture, or a combination thereof.

FIREARM SIGHT WITH ADJUSTABLE PEEP
A rear firearm sight having an adjustable peep and a front firearm sight having a vertically adjustable protrusion are provided. The rear sight includes a rear post and a rear base. The rear post includes an aperture and a peep having a plurality of peep holes and a plurality of positions where each position aligns a different peep hole with the aperture. The front sight includes a front post and a front base. The front post includes a protrusion having a screw portion and a wheel mechanism. The wheel mechanism is configured to adjust the height of the protrusion by actuating the screw portion. The wheel mechanism includes a plurality of indents and a plunger configured to fit within each of the plurality of indents.
SINGLE-PLATE BORESIGHT MECHANISM WITH INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT AND LOCKING CAPABILITY
The invention is related to a single-plate boresight mechanism with independent movement and locking capability developed to be used in weapon and vision systems used in all kinds of vehicles. The invention is particularly related to a single-plate boresight mechanism with independent movement and locking capability which comprises at least one hinge (300) allowing the system to rotate in a Y-axis on the front side, at least one linear actuator (100) located behind the system and moving in the Y- and Z-axes, at least one spherical joint (200) ensuring contraction that will occur while the linear actuators (100) located behind move in the Y- and Z-axes to be eliminated.
