A scope cap assembly for mounting on a scope of a firearm is provided, including a resilient sleeve for mounting to the scope of the firearm; a support body fixed to the resilient sleeve and including a mounting portion; a cap defining an aperture and pivotably mounted to the support body and movable between a closed position and an open position greater than 180 degrees from the closed position; a biasing member for biasing the cap towards the open position; a retaining mechanism for releasably securing the cap at an intermediate position between the closed position and the open position; and a first removable disc configured for placement within the second aperture and defining a annular protrusions for cooperating with annular flanges of the cap to secure the first removable disc in the cap.

The LED sights allow a shooter the ability to see both sights, and acquire the sights in low light without projecting any visible light. The sights being battery powered with an on/off and dimmer switch giving the shooter ability to use the sights at their convenience without projecting light.

When a firearm user aims down the slide of semi-automatic handgun needs to align the front sight between the two posts of the rear sight. This is the hardest thing for an instructor to correct not being able to see what the student is looking at. This aid will provide a reference point for the shooter to keep the front sight below, this helps promote proper sight acquisition. This is a hood that slides over top of the rear sight and over the slide. The shooter is able to shoot with this aid on the firearm.

The apparatus may be of a single monolithic construction or segmented (i.e., notched) so as to break off into smaller segments which can be useful for a particular application or user. Various textured surfaces including camouflage colorings, and non-reflective finishes are anticipated as are straight, curved, or textured main sections. The apparatus may be formed of any desired material and finished in any color and surface finish or treatment, as described, so as to be a functional accessory to any firearm.
