Elongated rear sight for a firearm
An elongated rear sight for a firearm is described herein. The elongated sight includes an elongated aperture bounded by a top portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion. A first elongated rod is interior and approximate to the top portion, and extends along a length of the top portion. A second elongated rod is interior and approximate to the first side portion, and extends along a length of the first side portion. A third elongated rod is interior and approximate to the second side portion, and extends along a length of the second side portion. The elongated rods may be light gathering rods that glow in the presence of light. The elongated aperture channels a user's eye(s) towards the target, while the three elongated rods are used to align with a front sight of the firearm to aim towards a target.

Adjustable rear sight for a firearm
The disclosure relates to an adjustable rear iron sight for a firearm. The rear iron sight includes features that maintain its various components in a state of alignment, that permit the rear iron sight to be locked in raised and lowered positions, and that bias a dual aiming aperture against movement while nevertheless permitting the user to easily rotate the dual aiming aperture to switch between its large-diameter and small-diameter apertures.

MOUNTS FOR OPTICAL SIGHTING DEVICES
Implementations of an optical sight mount with an integrated backup sighting system are provided. In some implementations, the optical sight mount comprises a base configured to be secured to, or removed from, a mounting interface of a firearm (e.g., a MIL-STD-1913 rail); a mounting surface configured so that an optical sighting device (e.g., a reflex type sight) can be secured thereon; and a backup sighting system positioned within a longitudinally extending sight channel located between the base and the mounting surface. Alternatively, implementations of a pivot mount for optical sighting devices are provided. In some implementations, the pivot mount comprises a base that can be secured to, or removed from, a mounting interface of a firearm; and a sight support member, rotatably coupled to the base, that is configured to move an attached optical sighting device (e.g., a magnifier) between two positions located on the same, or substantially the same, vertical plane.
Illuminated Sight System
An illuminated sighting system is provided and includes a front sight and a rear sight, wherein the front sight includes a front aperture and a front base, wherein, the front aperture further includes a front LED and a front sight post wherein the front sight post is adjustable in height and is optically communicated with the front LED such that when the front LED is illuminated, at least a portion of the front sight post is illuminated and wherein, the rear aperture further includes a sighting halo and a rear LED wherein the sighting halo is laterally adjustable and associated with the rear LED such that when the rear LED is illuminated, at least a portion of the sighting halo is illuminated.

BACK-UP SIGHTS WITH COMPACT APERTURE, CENTERING SIGHT POST, AND MINIATURIZED WINDAGE DETENT MECHANISM
A sighting system for a firearm and related methods are disclosed. The sighting system has front and rear flip-up sights, wherein the front sight comprises a flip-up portion having an aperture through which a sight post can partially extend; a knob comprising one or more notches on a first side and the sight post extending from a second side; at least one detent arranged to face and interact with the one or more notches. The knob is configured to rotate about a first axis, where the rotation causes the sight post to move in a first direction along the first axis; tilting of the knob in a second direction based on the detent interfacing with the notches; and tilting of the sight post in the second direction, thereby forcing at least a portion of the sight post to press against the aperture, or a combination thereof.

Sight training aid attachment
When a shooter aims down the slide of semi auto handgun needs to align the front sight between the two posts of the rear sight. This is the hardest thing for an instructor to correct not being able to see what the student is looking at. This aid will provide a reference point for the shooter to keep the front sight below, this helps promote proper sight acquisition. This is a plastic hood that slides over top of the rear sight and over the slide. The shooter is able to shoot with this aid on the firearm.
