Rear Sight Assembly For A Firearm
A rear sight assembly for a firearm is disclosed. The rear sight assembly contain a sight base coupled with the firearm, a sight blade pivotally coupled with the sight base and a tension member positioned between the sight base and the sight blade and configured to push the sight blade against the firearm.
Weapon sight
An open sight for use on weapons such as handguns is introduced. The open sight features two rear aiming marks which are illuminated by an artificial light source mounted in the rear sight. A third aiming mark in the front sight is illuminated by a forward-facing light source also mounted in the rear sight. The front sight is dimensioned to substantially block the forward directed beam to reduce the visibility of the illumination forward of the weapon.

An open sight for use on weapons such as handguns is introduced. The open sight features two rear aiming marks which are illuminated by an artificial light source mounted in the rear sight. The width of the sighting notch is variable. The rear sight is configured to be provided with a second sighting notch integrated within the rear sight and which is configured to move between a first position and a second position.

A reflective sight for use with a firearm includes a rear sight; a light source in the rear sight; a front sight; and a reflector in the front sight, wherein the rear sight and the front sight are aligned using light emitted from the light source that is reflected by the reflector toward the rear sight and through a light path aperture to a user.
Magazine retention device with integrated aiming system
A magazine retention device, including at least some of a body portion that extends along a longitudinal axis of the body portion, wherein at least one cavity is defined within the body portion, wherein the at least one cavity is operable to receive at least a portion of a magazine at least partially therein, wherein a front sight extends from the body portion and a rear sight extends from the body portion, and wherein the front sight and the rear sight are aligned substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the magazine retention device; and an attachment portion that extends from the body portion to allow the magazine retention device to be attached or coupled to a rail element, such that the longitudinal axis of the magazine retention device is substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the rail element.
HANDGUN SLIDE WITH EMBEDDED SIGHT ASSEMBLY
A handgun slide has a slide body extending longitudinally and includes sides extending down from a top surface. A proximal end portion of the slide body defines a recess configured to receive a sight assembly. A sight assembly can be installed in the recess of the slide by placing the sight assembly in the recess, followed by securing the assembly to the slide. In its installed configuration, at least part of the sight assembly's point-of-aim indicator is recessed below the top surface of the slide.
HANDGUN SLIDE WITH EMBEDDED SIGHT ASSEMBLY
A handgun slide has a slide body extending longitudinally and includes sides extending down from a top surface. A proximal end portion of the slide body defines a recess configured to receive a sight assembly. A sight assembly can be installed in the recess of the slide by placing the sight assembly in the recess, followed by securing the assembly to the slide. In its installed configuration, at least part of the sight assembly's point-of-aim indicator is recessed below the top surface of the slide.
WEAPON SIGHT
An open sight for use on weapons such as handguns is disclosed. The open sight features two rear aiming marks mounted in the rear sight and a third aiming mark in the front sight. The aiming marks are illuminated by one or more artificial light sources disposed within the rear sight. The artificial light sources project light forward to the front sight and illuminate the rear aiming marks. The front sight is dimensioned to substantially block the forward directed beam to reduce the visibility of the illumination forward of the weapon.
