METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR OPTICAL ADAPTER FOR FIREARM SLIDE
An apparatus and method for modifying a handgun to accept an optical sight comprises and modified slide mechanism adapted to include a flat recessed rear section configured to receive an adapter plate for mounting an optical sight. Various embodiments of the adapter include modified internal components used to replace stock components what will no longer fit within the modified profile of the slide mechanism. Replacement of the slide mechanism and associated internal components will allow a user to add an optical sight to an existing handgun.
Multiple angle offset optic mount
An offset optic mount can be detachably mounted at its proximal end to an accessory rail of a firearm in a cantilevered fashion with its distal end extending laterally from the firearm. An offset optic mount includes: a base and a clamp member on the proximal end, the base is adapted to be mounted to the accessory rail by the clamp member; an optic adapter plate on the distal end, the optic adapter plate is configured so that an optical sight can be attached thereto, the optic adapter plate is offset at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the base; and a stem adapted to connect the optic adapter plate to the base, the stem is a reversable piece used to set and change the offset angle of the optic adapter plate relative to the longitudinal axis of the base.
Modular weapon sight assembly
Methods and systems are disclosed for a modular weapon sight assembly. A weapon sight may include a base, an optical bench, an adjuster assembly, and/or a housing. The base may be configured to be releasably secured to a weapon. The optical bench may include a plurality of optical elements attached to a unitary component carrier. A relative position of the plurality of optical elements may define an optical path of the weapon sight. The base, the optical bench, the adjuster assembly, and the housing may be configured as separate modules. For example, the optical path of the optical bench may remain constant during adjustment and/or replacement of the base, the adjuster assembly, and/or the housing. A change in position of the base, the adjuster assembly, and/or the housing may not alter the relative position of the plurality of optical elements with respect to one another.
FIREARM
Improved firearms including one or more of a removable and/or interchangeable top cover, an improved extractor mechanism, a striker safety mechanism with a direct trigger interface, a sear with direct striker interface, and/or a striker with integral striker spring retention features.
Open airborne or vehicle-mounted sight
An open airborne or vehicle-mounted sight, including a carrier and an inner red dot module carrier installed on the carrier. The inner red dot module carrier is installed on the top surface of the carrier by means of a pitch angle adjustment mechanism. An inner red dot module, including an LED light source capable of projecting graphic signs; the LED light source includes a point light source, a peripheral light source surrounding the point light source, and the peripheral light source is a discontinuous line light source.
Holster system with removable sight cover
A holster system for receiving and releasably retaining a handgun with or without a reflex sight mounted thereon. The holster body comprises a pair of opposing side wall portions and an upper wall portion. The holster body may define a rear accessory sight opening for receiving the handgun with the reflex sight attached thereto. The holster system may include a first rear sight cover selectively and robustly coupleable to the holster body so as to cover the rear accessory sight opening when a handgun with conventional sights extending upwardly about ⅜ of an inch or less mounted thereto is used in conjunction with the holster system. The holster system may also include a second rear sight cover selectively coupleable to the holster body so as to cover the sight opening when a handgun with a reflex sight mounted thereto is used in conjunction with the holster system.
Systems and methods for alternating sight adaptors plates and associated accessories
An assembly comprising a firearm slide and an adaptor plate configured to mate with the firearm slide. The adapter plate includes a first seat in a top surface of the adaptor plate and a second seat in the top surface of the adaptor plate. The assembly also includes a first iron sight configured to mate with the first seat and a second iron sight configured to mate with the second seat.

WEAPON SIGHT WITH TAPERED HOUSING
Methods and systems are disclosed for a weapon sight with a tapered housing. The housing may be configured to enclose an optical bench and/or a portion of an adjuster assembly within the weapon sight. The housing may include an outer shell, a first window, and a second window. The first window may define a first area. The second window may define a second area. The second area may be greater than the first area, for example, such that the outer shell is tapered outward from the first opening to the second opening. The outer shell may define a first wall and a second wall that extend between the first opening and the second opening on opposed sides of an optical path of the weapon sight. The first wall and the second wall may be slanted outward from the first window to the second window.
