An alignment mechanism has a base with a front right quadrant, a front left quadrant, a rear right quadrant, and a rear left quadrant. The base further defines a yaw axis and a pitch axis. A ball and socket linkage is located on the base at either the front right quadrant or front left quadrant at the intersection of the yaw axis and the pitch axis. A pressure plate assembly is also on the bottom surface of the base at the other of the front right quadrant and front left quadrant. A spring is in contact with one of the rear right quadrant and rear left quadrant and kitty-corner with the ball and socket linkage, with a yaw alignment surface on the other of the rear right quadrant and rear left quadrant. A pitch alignment surface is also on one of the rear right quadrant and rear left quadrant.

Offset optic mount

An offset optic mount can be detachably mounted to an accessory rail of a firearm in a cantilevered fashion with its distal end extending laterally from the firearm. An offset optic mount includes: a base adapted to be mounted to the accessory rail; an optic adapter plate configured so that an optical sight can be attached thereto, the optic adapter plate is offset at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the base; and a stem adapted to connect the optic adapter plate to the base, the stem is a reversable piece used to set and change the offset angle of the optic adapter plate relative to the longitudinal axis of the base.

Modular weapon sight assembly
11435162 · 2022-09-06 · ·

Methods and systems are disclosed for a modular weapon sight assembly. A weapon sight may include a base, an optical bench, an adjuster assembly, and/or a housing. The base may be configured to be releasably secured to a weapon. The optical bench may include a plurality of optical elements attached to a unitary component carrier. A relative position of the plurality of optical elements may define an optical path of the weapon sight. The base, the optical bench, the adjuster assembly, and the housing may be configured as separate modules. For example, the optical path of the optical bench may remain constant during adjustment and/or replacement of the base, the adjuster assembly, and/or the housing. A change in position of the base, the adjuster assembly, and/or the housing may not alter the relative position of the plurality of optical elements with respect to one another.

Ballistic correction device for the sight members of weapons

A ballistic correction device for sight members (of weapons) provided with an elevation adjustment turret is described. In particular, the device comprises detecting means, outside of the turret, to detect the rotations imparted by the shooter to the adjustment ring of the elevation turret, and displaying means to display the shooting distance and/or other shooting settings corresponding to the position the ring assumed. The device displays, for the shooter, the calibration of the turret from the moment the shooter observes the device. The shooter is no longer required to keep in mind the last calibration carried out. In the step of carrying out a new calibration, it is no longer necessary to consult the compensation tables, but simply to read the values displayed on the device as the ring of the turret is being rotated. A method for correcting the elevation of the weapon is further described.

A firearm sighting device having a base, a first sighting lever arm pivotable relative to the base around a first pivot axis, a second sighting lever arm pivotable relative to the base and first sighting lever arm around a second pivot axis, a rear sight device fixed on the second sighting lever arm, a first positioning device for adjusting a pivot angle of the first sighting lever arm relative to the base, and a second positioning device for adjusting a pivot angle of the second sighting lever arm relative to the first sighting lever arm and the base. A rotating positioning element on the first sighting lever arm includes alignment elements that each have a positioning tip so that a distance between the positioning tip and rotating positioning element is adjustable. A buttress element on the bottom of the base interacts with the positioning tips.
