A laser accessory device comprises a housing having a front side having a port, a rear side opposite the front side, a left side, a right side opposite the left side, a top side, and a bottom side opposite the top side. One or more laser emitters within the housing are configured to emit a beam through the port. A first cover assembly is positioned on the front side, the first cover assembly including a first safety cover and a first frame securing the first safety cover to the housing. The first safety cover is movable between a closed position covering the port and an open position not covering the port.

GUN ATTACHMENT

The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for an attachment that can be fastened to a gun. The attachment may include a top surface having a longitudinal axis and an aiming sight that is parallel with the longitudinal axis, a front surface having a latitudinal axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the front surface including a muzzle aperture, a left surface, a right surface, and a fastening system. The fastening system may include a first mounting aperture of the left surface, a second mounting aperture of the right surface, and a locking pin capable of being positioned in the first mounting aperture and in the second mounting aperture such that the locking pin fastens the attachment to the gun. The attachment may be fastened to the gun such that the longitudinal axis is parallel with a longitudinal bore axis of the gun.

Viewing optic with direct active reticle targeting

The disclosure relates to a viewing optic. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to a viewing optic having an integrated display system. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to a viewing optic having an integrated display system for generating images that are projected into the first focal plane of an optical system.

WEAPON SIGHT

A handgun may include a slider-integrated active illumination sight. By integration of electrical connectors into the slider that conduct power from a rear powered sight to a front sight mounting area, a light source inside the front sight can emit light to the shooter's eye and make the front sight visible in any light condition. In combination with actively illuminated rear sight marks, the user now sees three evenly illuminated aiming marks. Alternatively, light can be conveyed from the rear unit to the front aiming marks by means of fiber optics.

Weapon Sight Light Emission System

A light emission assembly for weapon sights which provides a viewable illuminated aiming indicia of substantially fixed area and uniform brightness regardless of the ambient light conditions.

Thermal gunsights

A gunsight for aiming a firearm may comprise a display and an eyepiece optic positioned rearward of the display for allowing a user to view the display through the eyepiece optic and a motion sensing module. The eyepiece optic may comprise one or more eyepiece lenses. Circuitry of the gunsight is operatively coupled to the microbolometer and the display. The circuitry may comprise one or more processors and a non-transitory computer readable medium storing one or more instruction sets. In some embodiments, the one or more instruction sets include instructions configured to be executed by the one or more processors to receive a stream of motion signals from the motion sensing module and display an image to the user in response to the stream of motion signals.

System for visual cognition processing for sighting
11663828 · 2023-05-30 ·

A system for visual cognition processing for sighting, effectively a rifle scope apparatus, is a system that transforms one or more captured image streams through image processing and complex scene analysis including detection, segmentation, keypoints, identification and visual cognition processing that generates a display image visible to a viewer on a display where the complete analysis of the scene can be computed on the sighting device or on a separate computation platform.

OPTICAL SYSTEM WITH CANT INDICATION
20230112868 · 2023-04-13 ·

An electronic indicator on a see-through optical scope indicates whether an optical system is canted. The indicator may include illuminable visual indicators positioned on opposite sides of a field of view through the optical scope. The indicator may be visual, haptic, or aural. The visual indicator may include one or more LEDs positioned on the periphery of the field of view, and may be optically coupled to an appropriate position on the face of the reticle using a suitable waveguide. The LEDs are coupled to a microprocessor which is, in turn, coupled to a solid-state electronic inclinometer that is incorporated into the internal structure of the optical system. The microprocessor is configured to selectively illuminate one or more of the visual indicators based on the output of the inclinometer, thereby indicating how the reticle is canted, if at all.

Intensity adapting optical aiming reticle

An intensity adapting optical aiming system that automatically adjusts the intensity of the reticle to adapt to the light condition of the external light. The aiming system may be mounted to a weapon and the external light may be a weapon mounted light. The aiming system may include an illuminateable reticle and a light connector for transmitting light from the external light to the reticle.

Macro alignment reticle sight system

An aiming device is provided including an illumination device and an optical element wherein the illumination device projects a primary dot and at least one secondary alignment dot distal from the primary dot to aid a user in obtaining a view of the primary dot when the aiming device is in an aligned mode, the primary dot is visible within a field of view of the user, but the secondary alignment dot is not visible. When the aiming device is in a misaligned mode, the secondary alignment dot is visible to the user, but the primary dot is not. The secondary alignment dot provides instruction to the user to realign the aiming device relative to the field of view of the user so that the aiming device transitions to the aligned mode. A related method of operation is provided.
