Method For Shock Attenuation Device Using A Pivot Mechanism
A method for forming a weapon accessory mounting device to attach to a projectile firing weapon is disclosed. A flexure for receiving a body of the weapon accessory is formed. A pivot portion is formed at a first end of the flexure to attach the flexure to the weapon at a first attachment region. A second attachment portion is formed at a second end of the flexure to attach the flexure to the weapon at a second attachment region. A first aperture is formed in the pivot portion configured to receive a pivot pin. A second aperture in the weapon accessory body receives the pivot pin at a weapon accessory body first end to attach the weapon accessory body first end to the pivot portion. The pivot portion is configured to convert at least a portion of energy of a weapon shock recoil from translational energy to rotational energy.
Adjustable lever for magnification selector ring, riflescope incorporating same and related methods
A riflescope, a magnification ring for a riflescope and related methods are set forth herein. In one embodiment, a riflescope includes a main tube having an optical axis, an eyepiece, and a magnification ring associated with the eyepiece, the magnification ring being rotatable about the optical axis. In one embodiment, the magnification ring includes a collar rotatably coupled with the main tube and a rotatable ring disposed at least partially about the collar and being selectively positionable relative to the collar at a plurality of user-selected positions. The rotatable ring is releasably fixed to the collar at any of the plurality of user-selected positions. The rotatable ring also includes a protrusion extending radially from an outer surface of the rotatable ring.

Method of manufacturing a firearm accessory mount
A firearm accessory mount is described herein. The firearm accessory mount is manufactured by securing a raw amount of material, shaping the raw amount of material to generate receiving structures positioned on a mounting base along a common axis, forming apertures through the receiving structures to form accessory rings along a single axis from one direction and at least substantially dividing each of the accessory rings into receivers and caps.
Scope mount with electrical connectivity hub
An optical aiming scope mount (10) includes a base (12) configured to attach to a weapon system. At least two longitudinally spaced apart scope mounting rings (14, 16) are on the base. A first chamber (34) is formed in a portion of the base (12). A plurality of electrical connectors (38) on the base (12) are operatively joined by a circuit (46) at least partially located in the first chamber (34) to provide a power/data distribution bus.
